We all knew it would happen eventually. Can't be missing so many regulars and expect to keep winning games. Tonight could get ugly. Glad to see Hornqvist having a bounce back year. I'm ready to see some other options at RW for Sid/Guentz's line. - madmike71
Colorado came to Sunrise the game after they beat the Pens last week and played a hard fought close game similar to last night's game. Then they went to Tampa the next night and kicked the poop out of them (with Grubauer's backup playing). |

I’m down 50 right now. My lineup poop the bed last night and dude’s lineup popped off. I’ve got Sid, Letang, Tkatchuk, Chabot tonight. Might be able to catch him. |

Yup. People call Letang out all the time. Hell a good portion of the fan base thinks the Pens would be better off trading him. - j.boyd919
Well they did win a Cup without him, so... |

Me and my opponent have the exact same four players tonight, so things won't change until Thursday. Dude picked (frank)in Linbolm on Phi would had a huge night against Vegas, otherwise we'd be tied. |

It's tough. I really like what Simon brings to Sid's line. That missed opportunity wasn't on him. The defender waived his stick and got lucky.
I'd say the reason Horny was brought up was because that line was getting killed along the boards. Jake was awful last night at wining pucks but you can't take him off that line so Simon was. |

I think a lot of it happens when the puck is already in the offensive zone. Hornqvist is not a good puck carrier anymore. Transition wise, that top line isn't the same with Horny. |

This. Horn kills the transition game. When he’s in the zone already he’s awesome. That said, making late game line changes isn’t uncommon to spark things. |

Agreed. He's pretty awful with the puck on his stick anywhere outside of the front of the net. He is much better than Jake at keeping cycles going in traffic though. Barkov chumped Jake a few times last night. I think Simon is stronger than Jake on the boards too. |

Yeah I think that in general, Simon leads to more controlled zone entries and more puck possession in the O-zone (and a better shot rate) but if that line has to resort to dump and chase (which it doesn’t often) Horny is better suited for puck retrieval. Simon isn’t bad at it, he’s got decent hands in tight but he doesn’t ever bang the body like Horny does. |

Oh for sure Simon is definitely better than Jake along the boards. Simon just isn’t physical. He uses his stick and slight body position to win board battles and Horny just bangs bodies. |

I'm also pretty sure Marino wasn't on his strong side a lot last night. Letang kept slinking back over.
Acciari's goal and Malgin's goal Letang was on his strong side. Not saying they were his fault. Just that sides were not set in stone with that tandem and that actually may have led to some breakdowns.

We all Fantasy sports are the first word in evaluating hockey players. - Rinosaur
Lol, well, there are always two sides.
The funny thing is: By doubling +/- and PIM points (hits and blocks might be another option to add...), HBSL actually did something right compared to Yahoo fantasy (where most D not named Burns or Carlson are just second tier players).

Imagine citing plus minus in 2019. - Feds91Stammer
Some of us are just old fashioned. And I don't think the game can be enjoyed through the lens of a chemistry set or physics lab. Just look at RW... seems like he hasn't been able to enjoy a hockey game in like forever. |

I'm definitely one of 'these people' because I always root for the underdog. It's why my Avatar is KIng Necromancer from the Island of Misfit Toys, which is exactly where RW would banish JJ to if he could, LOL. |

Thought the Pens played a pretty good road game but got beat on a fluky goal and an awesome redirection. Tough loss, move on, over the season these things even out. Looking to see how the Pens evolve as the injured players find their way back into the lineup. |

Not a problem, last year it was he and Maatta. Right now what is Schultz providing with his salary, in a contract year, other than power play assists? |

I have to agree on this. Whatever his cost will be next season will be way too much. He isn't worth his current contract IMO |
