Yes. Barrie's been fine. Not as dynamic or jumping into the rush as much as advertised, but that's probably not a bad thing right now. - gravyface
Big time disagree, his offensive play has been underwhelming at best, and he's fringing on liability on the back end. Not quite Gardiner esque gaffs, but not near what you expect from a guy who thinks he's going to command 8 mil per on a max deal in the summer... |

I sorta thought maybe they’d win.. they started strong..
They’re just all out of sync. Verrry sloppy.
Idk, they haven’t gelled yet, and they may not.. the ATL is too strong to blow these games. - Arctic_AARDVARK

why no Leaf smash the Rat through the boards is beyond me - 21peter
Who would do that though? These guys are having a tough time playing the basics, let alone step up. Wizzin and Morgan are the only ones who would consider hugging a guy in a scrum |

That's not a guess, it's a fact. That's as good as the Leafs are going to be on the back end of a back to back against the Bruins on the road. Hutchinson made a lot of mistakes that made it harder on himself and his team. - JohnFergusonJr
It's not a fact, it's an opinion, and not a convincing one for anyone that watched the game. |

First two goals were weak. And a lot of those shots are because of his terrible puck handling skills and/or bad rebound control. |

The goals were not very good. He made some good saves but the 1st couple were garbage playing by him.
Leafs need to be better for sure, but I bet you could count 10x he mishandled the puck and caused some shots. |

And yet you defend mediocrity? - Hockey_Reverend
Can't defend much other than state facts and hope for better. Back to back. Hutch played pretty good but also not great. This isn't our full line-up. Refs didn't lose us the game, but they didn't give us any favours.
These are facts. I'm not whining saying the refs and the league (frank)ed us. That was a winnable game. But not every game is going to go the way you want. |

You cant blame Hutch for that loss... not sure Andersen would have made a difference...

His stick handling is on par with Lundqvist's, which is and was worst in league. |

Freddy has struggled with handling the puck this year too. Not quite that bad, but pretty bad in terms of Freddy, usually he's one of the better goalies in the league at it.

He wasn't magnificent but if the logic at play is that he cost us the game, that's a stretch at best. |

39 shots... - Hockey_Reverend
Every goal could've and probably should've been stopped.
I don't think I've ever seen a goalie as bad as he as at playing the puck. The Bruins entire game-plan changed part way through the game to dumping it in deep and forcing him to play the puck. And he turned it over half the time. |

Absolutely useless? It could have just as easily been 6-2 if not for him. It wasn't like he was immaculate, but he didn't cost the team the game by any stretch. |
