Now that Van is set on centres for a few years. Van can focus using their 2nd round picks on defensemen.

It's a blessing to have a genius Jim Benning running the show.

We need a front line winger as well. Brock is a tweener perhaps. I doubt Podkolzin or Lind can be that guy.

It was right around this time last year we lost 12 of 13.

I am waiting for the 25 game mark to see where we stand but I am also enjoying each one we win.

Not going to lie, I haven’t watched even 22 seconds of live game yet this year, but I’m getting a 2011 buzz already.

I have a friend who put $10 on Canucks v Sabres in the final. It pays 800-1.

Yup it is, but we need at least 1 of Lind Podkolzin or Hoglander to be a top 6 forward hopefully 2 of them

Jake Virtanen on the #Canucks Post Game Show on Horvat: In the room in the intermission he was the one doing the talking. He showed it on the ice. He did a great job, that's why he's our captain.

Bo should put LE against the lockers and tell him to pull his weight!

LE might fall asleep during it tho

Schedule killed them more than anything last year...crazy heavy road schedule coincided with injuries and losing streak. Schedule is much more balanced this year and they do have better depth. Hopefully they can avoid long losing streaks this year because of this.

I don't think Loui cares if he plays or not.

I don't have that same feeling about the team. If others do, they are just gushing over that winning feeling.

What else is there to gush over?

Team is finding ways to win, instead of ways to lose. Stop being such a #whiner. #stanleycup

I've always said as long as they bring it every game i'll accept the result. We're seeing some entertaining hockey and our young stars haven't even cranked it up yet. I'm happy as long as this continues. Playoff's even with an early exit would be a bonus, however i'm still not counting on it.

After two days I have come to the conclusion that I can't listen to the hype that everyone is putting on the 2020 draft already. I will most likely not look at prospects this season.

You're welcome.

Add: this draft is just not as good as everyone believes, the top 5 might be pretty good and a few solid D with size but past that, just not what anyone would hope from 10-30 picks. As always there will be sleepers.

Cheer's to having a solid scouting staff in Van.

It's pretty well known Sbisa doesnt have the talent to play in the NHL anymore

Especially when you don't know if you have a first rounder. Projecting the second round at this point doesn't do it for me. If JB acquired a first that may get my attention though.

Nice.

I have Canucks $50 cup win paying 30-1 in US Dollars.

But my Oiler one $50 cup win at 25-1 much more realistic.

I didn't see that they had claimed him. You haven't watched a Wpg game this year. Their defence is as bad if not worse than Van's has been in the past couple of years.

Always going to be players that slip in the 2nd that look like 1st round picks to some teams. Lind, Hoglander, Woo in Van's case.

A lot of the players that I have looked at video from remind me of past players and see where they were drafted recently and others that are further evolved and see how they turned out.

Kind of reminds me of 2015 draft.
In a redraft 5 out of top 10 players weren't drafted in the top 10. Someones going to draft a Lawson Crouse type at 11 again.

2015 was a pretty good draft for Van.
