EP hasnt taken a face off in his own end this season unless I missed one in this game. Green sheltering him.

Jake has been pretty inconsistent so I can see why

Lately JV's been playing well and starting to put in the points with Bo can become a thing for him.

He needs offense on his wing for that. He's obviously cashing in with shooters on the PP. It just ends up on the backboards with Pearson and Jake/Leivo with him. Bo is the best player on the team around the net.

Meh, that argument might hold some water if he wasn’t producing equal to or less than: Sutter, Leivo, Pearson, JV, Ferland, Schaller, Motte 5v5 while leading all forwards in TOI. He literally has 0 goals, 1 assist in true 5v5 action. Sorry... That’s just a fact 🤷‍♂️. 1 goal at the moment a 5 on 3 PP expired, and 1 empty netter were credited as EV pts.

Can’t exclusively blame his wingers when they all have more legit 5v5 pts than he does in much less TOI. If all the whipping boys are finding ways to produce without the benefit of a PP1 opportunity, he needs to as well. As a 2C, he needs to be the catalyst for our secondary scoring and he hasn’t done that yet.

Provide a HD screen shot without a narration and I'll consider it.

At the 10:18 mark best angle to see it go off Wing's #17 sliding down and go in net.

Top 6 players produce on the PP that's good on Bo for executing. He's had looks 5v5 didn't cash in yet but its only 9 games. You like JV with him maybe they will get it going together and Pearson can be the extra gel there too.

My argument is purely about 5v5 play... He’s doing a great (frank)ing job as the net presence since joining PP1. Greasy goals, textbook screens - love it. Also doing a great job as Captain.

That first PP goal to get it going was a nice forehand to back hand move by BO off Petey's pounce to shovel it on net.

JV will form a nice give on go rush line with Bo for more 5v5 points.

Didn't EP bulk up an extra 10 lbs? Are we seeing the same effect and slow pace like we saw with Boeser last year? EP is still finding ways to get points though which is good...but needs to break out. Why was he on the left side on the PP and not in his one-timer zone? Green changing it up?

Man, I left for Hockey when it was 2-0 DET and we looked like a Bantam B club out there. Good on the boys for the big 3rd period and Marky...wow

Break out? The kid is on pace for 91 points? Is 100 a break out?

lol 'pace'. His goal pace is way down. You are happy with 1 assist per game? Look I know the kid will break out eventually but there is something for sure off with him. He's not shooting enough and he's flopping all over the place at times. Missing easy passes tight on his tape. Something is amiss....

Watching him it does seem as if he is off a bit, and if he puts it all together it will be staggering to think what his point totals will be.

I thought Miller had a lousy game last night, when he took that hooking penalty he just stopped trying.

What the heck is going on in here?
I thought Bo and Brock were the designated whipping boys, for this season, not Elias and Miller.

Now, now....no one is whipping poor old Pettersson, just stating he looks off from his playing style of last year.

Miller was a passenger last night, again my observations.

Bo is the reason the team came back and won last night, Markstrom stole the game again.

😁

I agree, with the Petterson comments, although I have liked other parts of his game, just not as flashy as he looked last season.
I have been hearing some rumours that our boy Stecher and Baertschi, may be on their way to Ottawa.👍

It is very Daniel Wagner like to try to raise red flags about a person who is playing over a point a game.

I don't remember Hank taking a lot of D zone face offs either.

Fully agree. Petey looks off. Haven’t seen him dangle guys like he used to last season — but he’s usually getting double teamed so he knows there’s a man open elsewhere and is dishing it off more.

Miller coasted last night. West coast team travel fatigue? He’s been stellar all the other games, can’t do it for all 82.

Haters must be struggling to find whipping boys these days:

Turns out Jb is good at drafting and even the trades are looking up.
Team is winning so hard to hate on Green atm.
Edler, Sutter, JV and Schaller are all playing well.
Top 6 continue to produce.
PK (Bottom 6) is on fire.
Marky and Demko are playing lights out.
No injuries thus far.
Anchors are riding the pine.

I guess there is always Newell Brown.
