Am I crazy to think that Marino is having a better game than Letang? He bailed him out of a bad play twice that I’ve seen.
- Thorny87

Letang just looks out of sync on his off-side. They need a better plan for Dumoulin getting hurt than moving your top defenseman out of position.

They start out with him on his left but he seems to be cheating back and Marino has to switch.

Definitely not a fan of Bleuger and Gentzel on the same line.

This is looking more like a team missing it’s starters

I don't actually feel like they're threatening unless the top line on. ZAR has been close alot today but not burying them.

Panthers brought it and played a very solid game. The Pens just didn't have it tonight. Lots of sloppy play.

Effort was there. Pens looked gassed halfway through though. I think the adrenaline has worn off. They’re looking more like a team of call ups. Lots of flurry no finish

The Pens definitely overachieved so far this season, but that's what we needed them to do with all these injuries and it was eventually going to catch up. Bjugstad and Rust couldn't be closer to coming back at a better time.

Thankfully the Pens bought themselves some insurance.

Indeed.
I was impressed by Florida. They earned that win.

Pens had some great stretches of play IMO, wasn't all bad at all. Some very fortunate bounces for the Panthers on two goals...post for ZAR on the PP... Panthers had some great stretches too. Both teams were kinda equal I thought when you look at as a whole.. Both teams played hard.

Pens didn't play bad per-se, but they just didn't have it and were sloppy at the wrong times. As someone else said they just looked gassed.

Yeah, they can't. They have to bring more energy and less sloppy play. Tampa will pounce on any bit of sloppy play.

I don’t think the Pens played bad. They were out talented and out lucked. I think the Barkov line outplayed Sid’s line for stretches. That really can’t happen if the others can’t finish.

I'm surprised Jarry didn't get the start for this game.
