No first year pros are always exempt from waivers. Even Palve can go up or down all year and he's 27.

A. Johnson just hit waiver eligibility (needed 6 games). Won't matter since he's on emergency recall, but if they wanted to bring him up permanently he'd have to clear, though that's probably not a problem.

I think I was off on these. I thought Johnson was approaching the games played, but read it wrong earlier. He has 48 more games.

Marino would need waivers once he plays 70 games.

Beyond bad decision. Maybe the worst contract in league at the moment.
- Rinosaur

I mean I wouldn’t go that far yet. I expect him to be at least average for a couple years.

Capfriendly conveniently has a waivers calculator btw.

I can't wait to hear what Guddy has to say about the Pens after he gets traded yet again.
- Itsjustarash

Life as a bottom pair defender. If Marino doesn't surprise them so much, Gudbranson is still in the line up. Just wish he or Marino could play the left side.

Being average doesn’t garner a near league max contract.

Price is one of the best there is and I think his contract is one of the worst there is.

Yeah, that's where I saw I was wrong. For some reason I read earlier Johnson played 6 games as he was waiver eligible if he played 6 more games.

Not disagreeing with you there but when you have guys like Seabrook who make what they make and are absolute liabilities on the ice I’m not going to call it one of the worst.

Goalies are voodoo but nobody in their right mind would think a 31 year old coming off a poor year was going to be a savior.

I think we'll see it again with Holtby next summer. Whoever signs him is going to regret it sooner than later.

It’s why I want Detroit to get Askarov when they inevitably fall in the draft lottery.

I am curious about Florida's defense, though. Goalies don't win or lose games by themselves. A good goalie behind a bad defense is still going to lose lots of games. Likewise, a good defense can help a mediocre goalie win many games. Generally speaking the BJ's played a solid defense in front of him.

The funny thing about Bobrovsky is that he was probably one of if not the best Flyers goalie since Hextall but they got rid of him quickly (it remains to be seen how good Hart is). He was even the winning goalie in the first game at the new arena, unfortunately. The goalie situation there since has been amusing .

I haven't seen them play but their corsi numbers are good. The top pairing is good (59, 60) mid pairing above average (55, 52) and bottom pairing is weak (45, 38).

The next three games are on the road and against a strong corsi team (although a poor record) tonight in Florida. Sid, Jake and Simon will not be getting the best match ups. I say it is time for the Golden Boy to show us what he has.

Seabrook is definitely one of the worst. Top three for sure. Arguably the worst.

Seabrook and Maatta have to be one of the most expensive bottom pairs ever....and one of the most ineffective.

That attendance is pitiful. Florida should be moved or folded.

To not even get a SOG there is brutal. Tanger and Marino switching sides during play is not a good plan

I can’t wait until the next 8-0 blowout where Sid bounces one off his echl ass. Maybe 12 games from now.

Some good opportunities. Good pace. Our finish has been lacking after putting up 2 touchdowns
