I'd go Hart Thursday, he's beaten Chicago already and that should give him some confidence. I think keeping Elliot fresh is allowing him to play better as well, lets keep him healthy. Years past he has a couple good games and then we decide to run him into the ground. - ClaudeFather
Certainly looks like it. He's had two good starts. Maybe this is a perfect role for him at this point in his career |

I dont know. I'd go Elliott personally. He played exceptionally well and while Hart is our future, I think riding the hot goalie is what needs to be done. Have to take advantage of a goalie when he's on fire. |

Great win last night. Just a shame that Farabee and Vorobyev weren't already up helping the team against Dallas on Saturday. |

I agree, Elliott played so well he deserves the next start. I don't want to run him into the ground like years past, but after he played so well, he should be rewarded. Defense needs to tighten it up. Has Morin earned a start yet? Let Hagg sit a game or two. |

I think him being fresh has a lot to do with his play, we have a back to back Sat/Sun so it won't be long until he's back. |

All the focus in Farabee yet I honestly think the stabilization of the lines is due to Misha’s play. |

Hopefully the new coaches realize now that Raffl is a good bottom 6 wing, but not a center. |

That was just a stopgap move. Don't you think the recall of Vorobyev showed that they know that?

Yeah, having center depth down to the 4th line made a big difference. Kid played really well. |

TK and Lindblom leading the team in points 7 games in, still early obviously, but I didn't see that coming. |

what happens when elliot gets hurt again. having a almost a week off i have no problem with the tandem rotation. Hart is young and elliott is old. |

It was a bad move because they didn't have a proper center for the 4th line for the first 6 games. |

yah, he is good at back checking and can pass...has the size to stick around. all excited about farabee, that would be my only concern. he needs to fill out a little. when/if patty returns it barring other injuries we will have a solid team on paper at least. does anyone know if patty ever played wing. if g stays at center and patty takes the third line rw position..... |

People are not remembering his last start was Calgary (minus Edmonton cleanup), week off, he's not on a hot streak, he's had two good starts with ample time in between. Keep it that way. |

Elliott had many lengthy strong starts last year. Obviously no need to throw him b2b but play Elliott Thursday VS CHI. If he wins, he gets CBJ and Hart gets NYI. If he loses swap the the two games. There should be a 3:1 ratio for games IMO. If Elliot continues his strong play, let him play 3 straight games minus b2b until he cools down and throwing Hart in every 4th game. When Elliott cools down, Hart can take his job back. |

Hagg is a more physical MacDonald. He's done nothing in two years to suggest he deserves a permanent spot in the lineup. The team gets caved in when he's on the ice, even though he's not getting the really hard matchups. Why is it so hard to believe that Morin could do better than this?

These are professional hockey players in peak physical shape. As long as Elliott doesnt over do his movements he will be fine. Injuries can happen to anyone. |

While he played well, we do really have to make sure we don't ride him too much as the hot hand. The injuries worry me. I'd be ok with giving him one of the next two starts but not both. |

yes...and playing him multiple games in a row would increase the chances of another pull, tweak or strain imo |

It will be interesting to see what they do, but I couldn’t agree more. With the gauntlet that is November coming up, Elliott needs to take a minimum of 7 starts between now and the end of next month. There is no reason to ride either of them this early.

if macd made the same amount of money as hagg and played the same role then he wouldn't have been as much of a whipping boy. But of the two i would prefer hagg in the 6th role. more physical. |

While Elliott has played well and last night was a big win, there's no need to ride him right now. I also want to get hart back in there to get his confidence back up etc. Don't want him going too long without getting a chance to atone for a couple of off starts. I think given the chance, he'll get his mojo back. I always forget how young he is and how new he is to the league. |

You take the wins where you can get them. It might have been a different story if Marc-Andre Flurey is in net. That game last night made me think very little of the Gold Knights. |
