We'll see but I don't think the other parties will want a new election for a few years (except the Cons and they don't have the votes to take them down).

Him or MacKay I guess, tough to get those Toronto/Vancouver seats though.

They just don't match to PC values..

- pete26

Who?

Honestly, the fact that Kenney is really good in French could give the tories a better shot at gaining some seats in Québec.

so another election where the bloc, the green and ndp will have no money. Libs are safe for at least 2, probably 3 years IMO
- Symba007

Also, quite important to factor in, a lot of MPs will be in their 2nd mandate. You need six years of service to get your pension. So it's highly probably that there will be no election before 2 years.

He's a conservative? Wait what?

Not sure his speech against financing polluters will gather interest in the West though...

It's an issue that no leader can fix on there own. It's beyond borders. Canada isn't going to get china, india, singapore, malaysia, russia, nigeria or brazil to stop their mass polluting. Also every solution to this "existential crisis" involves increasing taxes and cost of living

Solution to everything nowadays.

as an independent, she gets almost no speaking time in the house of common, she will be the reject in the corner
- Symba007

She can still speak to the press. I don't think the SNC file is quite over yet. She's the human personification of Trudeau's hypocrisy. A native women who is pissed at him for doing illegal and unethical stuff. If you don't think that hurts Trudeau right in the guts. I don't know what could.

Oh, interesting. He's definitely a candidate. One would have to think Morneau and Freeland are also in line.

Well the Libs should recognise one thing, his brand is diminishing. Lost in every province I believe.

And I know they don't give a poop about anything out west here, but what happened yesterday was not an anti Liberal thing as much as it was an anti Dough-head thing.

Ask Mr. Goodale

You see Dough-head, he's not really that well liked over here, he's (frank)ing hated..

I believe Carney's the most fluent out of the 3 by a good margin. After that it's quite close but I think Freeland is a bit more at ease than Morneau.
