They need someone to feed them the puck, a Sven or Gaudette in the bottom 6 can make some plays. Neither will light the world on fire, but I think it would help boost the offensive creativity in the bottom 6 right now. That whole group is relying on broken plays and individuality for most of their offense.

That is why I would like a trade. Like I was saying I currently don't think that person exists on Canucks or Comets. Goldy and Jasek are the two closest thing to puck distributors.

Bieksa is very entertaining. If they create an inside the Canucks player development segment with his humor it would add both color and brightness to the 50 year slogan

Some people seem to really hate him, I thought he was hilarious too. I liked the off-ice personality of those Gillis-era teams.

The 2 that always get me are AV's laugh when asked about Wellwood and Schneider's impressions of Hansen, AV and Burrows. Luongo's Byfuglien poem was pretty funny too.

Remember when everyone here was on markstroms case and I said let him develop hes got the right ingredients? Now he's one of the top in the league and a key part of a good canuck groùp.
Now they're doing it again with Jake. Yet he improves every year.
HB doesn't ever seem to learn, same nonsense over and over

Marky has proven many of us wrong myself included. He really bought into the goalie coaches program last season and it is spilling over into this season. Playing a good game in the crease very disciplined. Goalies take longer anyways. He for sure has put the effort in and it shows.

But in the case of Jake there isn't much time left I'm afraid. He needs to start rolling especially playing with better players.

Talking about 3 scoring lines... why don’t we start with 2?

After basically a tenth of the season, Bo has 1 legit point 5v5 - an assist. The 5v5 goal he was credited with was actually scored the very second a 5 on 3 PP expired. Both of his goals came while on the ice with Petey & the PP unit. Not his linemates. Give him Baertchi back please.

They took away Miller and now he has no playmaker. He got the captaincy, EP got all the winger talent

From what I've heard, I don't expect either him or Stecher to be here next season.

You can bring in a bigger more skilled Rafferty to replace Stecher.

Jake Stecher for Gallagher

That would be a massive upgrade but Montreal loves Gallagher.

Really wonder if Virtanen + for Domi was possible back when the Yotes were shopping Domi. That would've been highway robbery.

Gallagher is an UFA in 2 years

We could trade Loui for Jamie Benn straight up

They'll probably do their best too lock him up, he's one of their heart and soul players and a fan fav in a hockey mad market. GM's don't like losing those guys.

If the new CBA gives a bad contract out for teams I would gladly take it on Ja Benn than LE

Are you saying give Pete a chance?

I thought that as well but early indications certainly aren't there.

But give it a bit of time maybe. I don't think Green has the patience to say 'hey Jake, you have all season to play with Bo to get your shat together' lol

- LordHumungous

That's the problem he gets moved around all over the place since he was drafted.

Because they can't find a center who works with him. His WHL center was a playmaker who was good on the rush. You won't get that in Sutter or Beagle. Maybe Gaudette but even he is more of a shoot-first center.

Sven could be that guy from the wing.

Right. Strange there is trade or dump JV talk. He finally gets a whole game on Bo's line and Green says good things about his play.
