Let me say it another way, so what you're saying is if Brees comes back and struggles there won't be a QB controversy? Okay - BetweenTheDots
Ok now I’m starting to think you’re just trolling. That or you simply don’t understand the level of respect Brees has earned on that franchise. Like even in your incredibly unlikely scenario of him struggling to play QB the answer is an emphatic NO...there will not be a controversy. They will not bench their legendary face of the organization. This isn’t Marcus Mariota we’re talkin bout here. |

They will do everything they can to develop him. Game is still to fast for him and it might be always, time will tell - BetweenTheDots
I wish they would cut their losses sooner rather than later. I was happy the fans were booing him he can't even hit a wide open receiver. Best case scenario is that it motivates him because the entire league knows he sucks and they don't even hide it when talking about him |

I think he lacks instincts. I hope I am wrong, but QB has held the Bears back before, I suspect that will happen again. - kwolf68
I don't know what to think, i feel like he's got a deer in the head light look then some games he's really good and has a great rhythm, good mechanics on some throws then throws off his back foot when not sure where he's going with the ball. |

Given what they gave up to get him (when it was very clear they didn't) they will stay hitched to that wagon. Christian McCaffrey was also in that draft and that dude is dynamic. |

With Bill Walsh gone, I'd love to Mike Holmgren to take a look at him. Pay him some consulting fees. |

Im open to the possibility that Brees thumb isn't going to feel right after having surgery, the one he uses to throw the ball with. To me that's just logical thinking especially when it gets cold out. |

How to fix the Hawk PP: Bench Patrick Kane
I think he’s too much of a crutch. When he’s on the ice for a PP nobody seems to do anything except get him the puck then stand around and wait for him to do something magical...which happens from time to time, but not often enough.
Seems like when PP2 is out there without Kane, the puck and people movement is better, and they make simpler plays without trying to get too cute.
Am I crazy? Ok yeah maybe, but is this idea totally crazy, or do other people see this too? |

Yea totally crazy, maybe even insane. LOL. No, Kane stays on the PP, the guys just need to NOT do what you are saying they are not doing. Play hockey, problem fixed. But Kane NOT on a power play is...Sacrilege. Where have I heard that before? |

Trouble is the more reps he gets he gets worse. Other teams have figured him out, he's still making poor reads, bad throws, dumb decisions. And his accuracy, which was supposed to be his calling card, is a mess right now. |

yes, that is what was happening under Q, too, and then they switched up the personnel with people who'd learned to play it another way and it got very good for a good chunk of last season. Now he's back with guys who defer to him too much (same mix in PP1 as all last year). Should bench him TEMPORARILY until they start learning to play (cycle and distribute puck) without him or re-mix the PP units.
OH, and TAKE KEITH OFF THE PP!!! |

Well if it’s injury related and he can’t play effectively that’s different. There’d be no controversy because everyone would know he’s hurt and they have to go with the reliable back up. |

Yep but it's his turn to make the adjustment and i think that's why he's trying to attack the middle of the field, i also don't think he knows how to operate a RPO and Nagy should just call running/ pass plays |

Darnolds last INT was sooooooo ugly LOL
What a letdown after his return last week was supposed to spark the Jets turnaround. I bet mike Greenberg is having a heart attack |

If one other person...just one...also “sees this” I’ll poop my pants. An utterly ludicrous take if there ever was one lol. But hey no shame in giving it a try, in fact I applaud the bravery of sharing the thought. Well done. |

Is he technically hurt if it doesn't feel like it used to? Didn't he have shoulder surgery and he said it didn't feel right for 2 years? I believe so |

Hope SimpleJack's pants are OK. Thinking about it more, I do think swapping in/out some personnel might re-ignite the PPs. |
