As far as the Bears, that goose is cooked.

You’re always welcome to join the Packers bandwagon. Convert to the dark side. We’re always good and we know how to find legit starting QBs.

We'll see, Saints team is pretty good, Bears really miss Hicks on D. Don't be surprised if there is a QB controversy in NO

Saints are very good, without multiple good players and still made the Bears look like a pee wee team. Yes, Hicks is missed, but they should be better than what we saw yesterday with him. There will be ZERO QB controversy in New Orleans, Brees is their guy, period. Teddy has done a hell of a job, but he's the #2 and will remain there.

In my view, New Orleans is going to win it all this year.

LOL at the notion of Brees not getting his starting job back

He’s A. Earned an untouchable/God-like status in that city and within that organization and B. Still very good

And Bridgewater is merely average to above average

I did say he made some good points. Coach Q had his faults to I'll acknowledge that I think he was loyal to a fault in reference to not addressing toews decline in his play. However he was railroaded last year with the team that Stan gave him. JC has had a full training camp, brought inn the coaching staff he wanted , Stan did go out and on paper build a better team,

Chicago has had enough down time to practice and correct all these issues and playing at home is suppose to be a advantage .

Im not saying he won't, I'm saying as soon as Brees struggles this is going to happen, and Brees will struggle at some point.

Only 5-0 as a starter

Ummmm no

Even if he struggles there won’t be a chance in hell he gets benched. He’s earned “untouchable” status when it comes to his starting job and the franchise will continue to respect his legacy through the ups and downs. And to be honest there probably won’t be many downs.

Brees has not struggled in 15 years. Yea, when he turns 46 he probably won't have it anymore. Brees is a masterful QB, one of the games quickest thinkers at the position. It's why he and Brady don't miss a beat, they are just BETTER than everyone else out there. That's isn't changing for Brees. Oh yea, Brees also has a ring on his finger, so unlike Teddy the Saints KNOW Drew can get it done in crunch time. If not for a brutal call in the NL Title game last year, Brees may be gunning for Number 3 this year. When healthy Brees is back in and the Saints won't skip a beat.

I always forget you know what's going to happen in the future.

I also have to admit im impressed with your conviction in how you really think you are absolutely correct

That's impressive

This has to be some kinda record for longest debate involving a non-Chicago based non-hockey sports franchise in this history of this Blog...

He's predicting the future because he is looking at the past. Brees = One of the greatest QBs of this generation, a champion, a leader, a warrior. If he's healthy he's the starter. I don't think saying "Brees is the starter" is much of a stretch. LOL.

Lol this is an easy one man...Drew Brees vs Teddy Bridgewater isn’t rocket science.

Also you must have missed my post the other night where I mocked myself for having so many wrong predictions in the sports world recently...

I can't believe this is a debate. Teddy has done fine, managing the Saints wins, keeping the seat warm until the Hall of Famer is ready to take his spot back.

Can we get 1 of the 2 QB's... Because Trubustski sucks he can't even complete a pass to save his life. To be fair the offensive line hasn't done any protecting and Nagy and his play calling are very questionable. And To think Maholmes and Watson were available later in the draft.

Let me say it another way, so what you're saying is if Brees comes back and struggles there won't be a QB controversy? Okay

If Drew Brees comes back and breaks his leg he won't play. Payton has a Super Bowl team and he knows that goes on the arm of Drew Brees. He knows it will take an elite QB like Brees to beat Brady. Sorry, Teddy Bridgewater isn't on that level. IF Brees struggles, it will be short lived and there will be ZERO QB controversy.

The worst thing they can do over there is divide the locker room over the QB. In fact, I think Teddy knows this too.

This isn't the 86 Bears, a team that WAS DESTROYED because of the QB controversy surrounding Flutie/Tomzack as they were bounced in the first round of the playoffs. Had idiot Jim McMahon been a leader and taken Flutie under his wing a bit, the Bears win Super Bowl 21 in my view. But that locker room was toxic thanks to the Punky QB.

And 87 was destroyed because of "Da Coach"...once he called the scab Bears "the real Bears" he lost his team. Ditka, though he's a likable fun guy, was a clown and he was routinely outcoached by Bill Walsh and Joe Gibbs.

Very true.... however we can change the future but that would mean Pace and company would have to admit that they were wrong about Trubustski and dump his sorry ass and get a real QB. I know wishful thinking it ain't happening. They will shove his sorry ass down our throats to prove that they were right about him.

They will do everything they can to develop him. Game is still to fast for him and it might be always, time will tell

I think he lacks instincts. I hope I am wrong, but QB has held the Bears back before, I suspect that will happen again.

If he is unhealthy he won't play. If he takes the field that means he can make all his throws. Saints want home field and should get it as long as they don't slip up. Frisco will lose games, you can run on them. Just no one has committed to it yet. Saints you can't do much of anything against them.
