Enough with sticking with the top 2 lines as is - it's not working for 5th game in a row (yes, I know Dach was subbed in, but the main two on each line are not working together)

All JC’s fault, his system stymies the offense

5 D in the 3rd period showed. Vegas dominated the last 8 minutes. Hawks Powerplay had plenty of chances to get the insurance goal but failed. Special teams are once again a massive issue.

I’d like to see Dach-Toews-Kane next game. Toews’ line has been poor.

There is a common denominator there...he did have a nice rush in the third but just long stretches of bad play and lazy play. His back checking looks so lazy. It’s just a couple of reaches instead of moving his feet.

Well, at least our trajectory seems to be going the right way

Agreed. They seem to be playing with a purpose. Keith was fantastic tonight. Now we just need to get the captain going because he's been really bad.

He isn't. In Buffalo he made 1, yes, 1, shootout save.

Wow just wow

That was a great & exciting game. I can't be mad at minor mistakes because that was the best the whole team looked & played through an injured Murphy. Just hope for better next time, but this is a team I'm proud of. I see a lot of better changes.

I'm hearing Aleksi Saarela requested a trade as he wants to be in the NHL.

It's too bad... thought Saarela had a chance to play this year in CHI.

Incredible performance by Fleury throughout much of the game or else we would have been up 3 or 4-0.

Vegas surged late and Lehner was outstanding as well.

Great hockey game overall by both teams. Hawks looking good IMO.

Robin Lehner just gave by far the most passionate, heartfelt scrum so far this season. I’ll have his full comments posted shortly.

Lehner was amazing, so unpredictable which is fun to watch; thought the team played really well defensively, alot of 1 n dones for Vegas. Unpopular opinion but I think they should send Dach down to the WHL, they're not doing him any favors by sheltering him with 8 min TOI and in limited situations. If they expect him to be a franchice centerman, they need to either let him continue to play center in the juniors or get him off Kane's line and actually let him Center a line. But again, thats just my opinon man.

He has zero goals and one assist in five games. Yeah he scored 30 last year. so he becomes an nhl good scorer when 1 year ...2 years???...we have good goal scorers now who need to get it going...
