Hope SimpleJack's pants are OK. Thinking about it more, I do think swapping in/out some personnel might re-ignite the PPs. - pdx2ord
I said if ONE other person agreed I’d poop my pants. Fortunately for myself 2 others agreed so now I’m off the hook 😉 |

There is no way Bridgewater plays over Brees. I got the point but it will not happen. The Saints have been winning with defense and solid running game plus Bridgewater not turning the ball over. The Saints have SB champ aspirations. Brees is their best chance to achieve that goal.
Not to mention there is no reason to rush Brees at this point. Their division is garbage. They play TB one more week, get the bye and then Brees can come back. |

Sacrilege time.
How to fix the Hawk PP: Bench Patrick Kane
I think he’s too much of a crutch. When he’s on the ice for a PP nobody seems to do anything except get him the puck then stand around and wait for him to do something magical...which happens from time to time, but not often enough.
Seems like when PP2 is out there without Kane, the puck and people movement is better, and they make simpler plays without trying to get too cute.
Am I crazy? Ok yeah maybe, but is this idea totally crazy, or do other people see this too? - Ogilthorpe2
Yes. For reasons unrelated to this hot take. |

Nagy's playcalling has not been wonderful this year either. - kwolf68
He's another Schoop and Crowton, imo. Came in with some fancy poop; and had nothing when the inevitable adjustments were made against them.
Time for him to go. |

They have to make sure to get home field. I suspect Green Bay and Frisco will lose a few more games, so it should be safe as long as they go 13-3. I also expect them to destroy Frisco later in the year. Saints are BY FAR the most complete team in the NFC. If they do not play New England in the Super Bowl it will be a huge upset. |

If one other person...just one...also “sees this” I’ll poop my pants. An utterly ludicrous take if there ever was one lol. But hey no shame in giving it a try, in fact I applaud the bravery of sharing the thought. Well done. - SimpleJack
I honestly think it couldn’t hurt. Kane can’t do it by himself, but that’s pretty much the position he’s put in every night. When he’s on the ice for a PP, they move the puck slower and more predictably than any team in the league. It’s bad, and has been for years. |

Agreed. Saints beat down the Bears and Bridgewater really didn’t play well. Think his completion percentage was around 60% despite have all day to throw yesterday. They put the timer on it one play and it was over 7 secs. He missed some really easy throws. Brees would’ve torched the Bears for 45 the way they played yesterday. |

Look I know you naturally wanna put them on a pedestal because they just embarrassed your beloved Bears...but I don’t see them as being noticeably better than GB or SF. Pretty hard to separate those 3 teams right now. I could see all 3 representing the NFC in the SB. Saints had a couple close calls against Watson and Wilson. Lost to Goff. Last 3 opponents have had poopbox QBs. I’m not so sure the Saints would wanna face Aaron Rodgers if this Packers offense continues to progress, especially if it’s at Lambeau. |

Not last year. Last year it was pretty damn good...with all the same players. And coach. So let’s give it some time before we freak out/demote our best player. |

For a month it was good. For the rest of the last 10 years it’s been much worse than what should be expected given the personnel they’ve had. |

And to be clear, I don’t think Kane is the problem, but he can’t do it by himself. Unfortunately it ends up being 100% up to him because nobody else will do anything except feed it to him and then stand around. |

Green Bay has no run defense. Green Bay is also in a very hard division, as long as they aren't allowed to carry their own officials they should lose a game there. You get KC minus Mahomes, how lucky. Green Bay is NOT going to goto New Orleans and beat them this year. I'll put any amount of money on that. UNLESS, it's Teddy versus Aaron. Then Green Bay may have a chance or if by some miracle Green Bay gets homefield. Saints will run the NFC this year. |

SF sucks, Vinnie ain't going to cut it, did worse than Mitch did vs Saints, against the frickin Redskins
Hate Rodgers but (frank)ers talented, but Adams is really the only weapon the Packers have,
it'll be interesting and considering the Rams traded for Ramsey that negates every #1 receiver vs them

I would not say SF sucks (who is Vinnie?), but they are certainly going to get exposed. a Pedestrian offense and a soft run defense. Teams just need to commit to running against them, mark my words soft underbelly. But if you're 3rd and 10, forget it, they do have some boys who can run. |

I've checked the twitter feeds of Powers, Lazerus and Myers several times today expecting there would be a tweet or two from Hawks' practice regarding who Dach is taking line rushes with ... and nothing. Either they didn't bother covering practice today or there was another optional skate instead of a formal mandatory practice. I hope it's the former because the Hawks aren't so good they can be skipping practice on a regular basis. I believe they had optional practice on Saturday as well as Thursday - so essentially no practice - game - no practice - game - no practice - game. Really? The PP doesn't need some work? The PK doesn't need some work? I don't get it. |

After a season and a quarter? I have some issues with the playcalling but there are only so many 5 yards patterns you can call. The bust can't complete a pass more than 15 yards. I think some of the playcalling is a reflection of Nagy's confidence in Trubustsky. |

SF runs the ball down your throat. Keeps their defense fresh. |
