Well, they are adding new players, but it will probably be a short one.

Hintz walked right in took a shot, hart stopped it. no one cleared the porch, Hiintz was right there and the second attempt got past hart. Yes backhand shots can be deceptive, but perry was further away than Hintz and hintz first attempt was stopped. It was an ok backhander, right past the shoulder i believe. But that is a one on one with the shooter. Guessing that's why. - Peter Richards
There should not have been a rebound off of the first Hintz shot and the second was in tight enough he shouldn't have had much to look at. Perry's goal was a more difficult save imo. |

I still can't believe how that game played out. Score a beauty right off the hop, and dominate zone time and amount of shots but still lose 4-1 with an ENG to a team that played the night before and has had a poor start. Extremely frustrating to watch.
Really hoping they can turn it around here. A 2-7-1 type of start will certainly jack up the pressure and need to recover with a long stretch of wins at some point. |

Tonight might be tough, then they have a few games they could/should win before they start a tough stretch. Need to get this going in the right direction. |

The Architect of the 2010 Chicago Black Hawks Dale Tallon and the one and the same coach Joel Quinneville brought Brian Boyle to Florida to play as their fourth line center, while adding some leadership. We decided to throw some names into a hat and pulled Michael Raffl’s name. - SuperSchennBros
And you would be the first one complaining about adding another aging veteran..... The 4th line isnt why we are losing games. You are randomly placing blame because you dont know why the team isnt winning. |

I can understand being down 2-1, the 1st wasnt a good period but having 2 goals scored against you while limiting the opponent to 3 shots for 2 periods is unacceptable. All 3 goals scored on Hart were from the slot as well. |

Agreed. They started so well with the first two wins. Got to get back to winning here. Hopefully the callups help. |

Yeah. It seemed like we held them to almost nothing and then gave up grade A opportunities. |

yeah i like those lines on paper actually. interested to see how the first line does. i feel like it's a matter of time before jvr starts putting pucks in the net. having those two on his line should help. hopefully it gets giroux going a little more too. |

I don't mind rolling with this until Patrick gets back. Gives us 3 actual lines that could possibly score and makes matchups a lot harder for other teams. When Patrick gets back I'd slide him into the middle with Giroux and Voracek and put JVR with Hayes and Farabee. Also Farabee is supposedly the slot guy on PP1 tonight as well. They're still doing that stupid Giroux on the right half wall though which makes zero sense to me but oh well. |

JVR and Giroux have a lot of chemistry playing together and so do G and Voracek so on paper the line should be able to put some points up. Only thing I'm worried about is that they're putting to much on G's plate defensively but if they start them in the o zone in most scenarios I could see it working out. |

Yeah. I like it as well without Patrick. Intrigued by Farabee getting PP 1 time if that's the case. |

3/4 games for Stewart since he was signed. So much for being the 13th forward who sits in the popcorn suite. |

Love the balance in the top 9, there's no way Stewart should be in over Pitlick though. |

I find it bizarre that they will happily scramble the forward lines every game, and swap guys in and out from the Phantoms, but Morin can't get a game no matter how little Hagg contributes from the back end.
And if Fletcher hadn't paid back Stewart for whatever favor he owed him with this totally undeserved contract, they could have called up Myers for tonight's game to play instead of Hagg. |

Twarynski should still be in the lineup... Stewy and Pitlick are both useless. |

I was just about to spout off on how they should put Giroux back at center and try him with our best shooter in JvR...so there is nothing to spout off about. |

It blows me away that this top line is just now being tested since JvR’s arrival. |
