usually the first game back from a west coast road trip is one I dread. Most teams coming back east end up looking flat for at least the first part of the game. But being that the travel is the same for both teams this time (since it's a home and home series), I'm hoping that kind of eliminates that element.

Like it or not, John Brown is playing like a NFL #1 receiver. We have some nice compliments with Beasley and Williams. The key is, do the Bills trust Robert Foster to take over for Brown if he gets injured? Do you want a Zay Jones type, a solid intermediate option that can also stretch the field?

I have no idea if Beane actually wants to upgrade the WRs at the cost of, let's say, premium murrency. Spending a 2nd on AJ Green would be an absolute joke. The name recognition far exceeds the true value.

Now if that 2nd were to be used on a guy like Diggs, or a 3rd on maybe Mike Williams from the Chargers... that would be exciting as (frank). I wonder if he'll look into picking up a lineman or a backup linebacker.

Of course, it was told through the eyes of the former owner, Paul Snyder, but if the Knoxes didn't have so much clout when it came to arena dates (Sabres got all the Friday nights), this would probably be a basketball town. Their TV ratings were better, and so were their radio ratings. The only difference then was that gate revenue played a bigger role than it does now.

Oughta give it a read. I'm a passive baseball fan and really not a fan of the NBA whatsoever. I'd be all in if those two teams came back. I'm sure we'll never get an MLB team, but I don't see why we couldn't support an NBA team.

I'm not so much concerned about last year so much as it is only October. The NHL is full of good teams that play poorly and bad teams that play well in October every year. That said, banking points early is never a bad thing either.
