Saying going from a 50% completion percentage to 60% equates to no growth is like saying your microwave sucks because you can't cook a whole turkey in it.

Buffalofan19 - not worth responding to him or he - not wasting my time any longer with it. Dahlin and Allen suck in his/her world .....

The best part of this, is that we are now wanting more from the teams that are already succeeding.

I understand the frustrations of some, but right now things are still good.

I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Yup. Because at the end of the season, what's in the W column is typically what determines if you make it to the playoffs. That's it. It's that simple. Get the W, move on to the next game. Wash, rinse, repeat.

At the same time, though, to me, it's just as okay to be concerned about items after win as it is to not think the sky is falling after a loss.

The fact that they struggled at home against the worst team in recent memory is a little concerning. It could be and probably is fixable, but still something to keep an eye on.

I'm going to the game this weekend, and the combination of them not being sharp at all against Miami coupled with the fact that Philadelphia is due for a breakout game, especially after getting their asses kicked the past two weeks, makes this a very scary game.

I think the issue is that so many people are waiting for "the other shoe to drop" to be honest. Because as Buffalo fans, we've seen that happen tooooooooooooooooo many times.

2008 when we started the season 5-1 and ended 6-10. Last year when the Sabres had their 10 game winning streak, were at the top of the league basically and then finished 27th.

Where I have issues with the "complainers" right now, is that they're so focused on the deficiencies they don't know how to enjoy the ride for now. Could things fall apart for either team? sure. But why not enjoy the success they're finding now?

It's also ok to say, "this is fun, but I'd like to see improvement in x, y, or z." I think that's the main disconnect with people around here.

I am fighting this battle.

I tweeted yesterday that I was pretty positive that the Bills would win, but I was still nervous about the game.

I get frustrated watching/listening to the games, but at the end of the day and season, the W's are the only thing that matter. Not the point spreads, not margin of victory (unless tie-breakers). If you win more often than you lose, good things happen.

I 100% agree. I can enjoy the games, but have concerns. But I'm not going to sit here and tear the team apart like others as well. There's almost always room for improvement somewhere.

Did anyone else see Josh Allen wore a Sabres jersey to his post-game press conference?

Is KC without Mahomes still a big draw for SNF?

Could Bills/Eagles get the flex?

I was for sure frustrated at times during the game yesterday. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. The fact that Fitzpatrick was looking like Brady out there for the first half (and then to start the 3rd quarter) was super concerning. I was frustrated that our offense couldn't seem to make a play when they really needed to and we had to keep settling for field goals.

But i won't sit here and tear them apart and be miserable today. They won. There's areas that could use work. Nobody was perfect yesterday.

I think they needed to make that call 2 weeks in advance.

I think the two best candidates are the games against Cleveland and Baltimore.

it will be ripped away like everything in Buffalo.. the Sabres will collapse and the bills will miss the wild card playoff race because of a loss the the dolphins...

Meh. I'm fine with it. A lot of the "up and coming" teams like the Bears and Browns got a few this year and haven't looked so hot. I'm more than ok with having a consistent Sunday at 1pm schedule for the most part.

And the coach is on record as saying he prefers mostly, if not all, 1pm starts, as athletes are creatures of habit.

The owners are also on board with what the players would prefer. That was something they changed when the purchased the sabres as well. Told the league they didn't have a preference in scheduling to help avoid so many back to back games.

Before that, Golisano wanted the Friday night home games which meant that we ended up playing Friday/Saturday a lot since most other teams wanted Saturday home games. This is why we see so much of our schedule end up now Tues, Thurs, Sat.

That Cleveland week is interesting. They've been throwing up on themselves lately, but if they were to somehow beat New England this week, and then Denver, they become a story again. If Buffalo beats both Philly and Washington, that becomes the most interesting game of the week.

The Sunday Night game right now is Minnesota at Dallas.

The Baltimore game could be really intriguing, but right now the Sunday night matchup is Seattle versus the Rams. Both teams would need to take a nosedive to get flexed out of there I would think.

If the NFL wants you on Primetime, though, you're going on Primetime.
