I caught the last half of the game.
That 3rd was crazy, and even more surprising is that we didn't fold.
Other years, other iterations of this squad would have at least gone to o/t and more than likely lost.
i like this team. - dbot
They sort of did fold. |

Probably the first time in NHL history a team has been scheduled B2B games in the afternoon on the weekend lol. Good thing we got 2 pts out of it - LordHumungous
I see take this guy out put this guy in . Canucks are 5-3 and have played 5 road games . Two of the losses are by one goal. They have played an Eastern trip with two morning games. I think Green probably doesn't mind the start to the season so far. |

It's a good start for sure even though the signs of growing pains are there. PP looks horrendous...but it will come around. They were gassed in the third period yesterday though. Was amazed the Rags never tied it or won it in reg. Credit to Marky he has looked so good. Big contract coming? lol
As far as changes I would still leave Bo off the PP1 and leave Hughes there to find his bearings. The chemistry with Hughes-Petey-Boeser will come. |

Why not keep Edler off for Hughes? |

I'm pretty happy with Sutter so far. Like him or not he's valuable as long as he stays healthy. I like the character he brings. |

He has been solid so far. Hopefully Gaudette will work his way back into the lineup soon, and they can see if it’s worth exploring a Sutter trade when his value is up or keeping Sutter to work alongside him.
It’ll be interesting to see who comes out when Rousell is back, if there aren’t any injuries that take place. |

Actually a good idea thought about that as well. Getting pretty sick and tired of Edler's shots into shinpads and turnovers at the Offensive blue line on PP's.
Boeser-Petey-Miller
Horvat-Hughes.

Either way, it's a good problem to have for a change! I wouldn't be apposed to a trade for a fair return. |

Gauds may work his way back in but Sutter won't be traded unless the team is WAY out of a WC spot a few weeks before TDL. |

Really? It could be for another piece to help in the playoffs. Try to think outside the box ffs. |

I missed the NYR game, but thought he's been getting better with more energy. Maybe just managing that while he gets over losing all that weight!

Hopefully he's not Greens new whipping boy. It's a bit to early into his contract for that. |

To be fair to DCT, we have yet to see any player really “click” with EP this year at 5v5. Just saying... |
