I've seen people on here say he is too slow and say he sucks for it.

Max says it twice a day on here.

I recall when the Red Wings had Larry Murphy. His best years were behind him but he had the fortune of playing with Nick Lidstrom. Each time the Red Wings won the fans and media would say "Murphy is a smart offensive defenseman who's one of the Red Wings best defensemen." When the Red Wings lost they'd say "Murphy is old and washed up and his lack of foot speed hurts the team." 😂

To me he skates like he weighs 425lbs...lol. He must be exhausted after every game.

I always thought that of Duncan Keith. He takes so many little steps it seems. Very choppy. But it never hurt his game.

Eff me...Leaf fans ran him out of town because of his skating style...and look what he did after.

Yup people get obsessive over a players fault but they don't appreciate the fact that despite their fault, they still produce.

Its like Nylander.

People will call him soft if he gets knocked off the puck...but they don't realize he's one of the best on the team at keeping hold of the puck in the offensive zone.

We're in love with players who make it look easy.

That was Mike Smith. Future considerations. Leafs even paid half his remaining salary. ☺

Like Paul Coffey. What a smooth effortless skater he was. Even when Detroit had him he was still an elite skater.

You know who has been consistently awesome for the Leafs this year?

Muzzin and Mikheyev.

Both have been just solid every game.

I absolutely love his game.

The thing that sucks the most about Kadri not being a Leaf anymore is that you can't really make the joke about him getting suspended for Marchand spearing Muzzin last night.

actually, its nothing like the situation with Nylander.

People don't call him soft - he is soft.

If he's one of the best on the team at holding the puck in the offensive zone, there should be loads and loads of video footage of him possessing the puck in the offensive zone and generating scoring chances...

so send along a few of those videos... WITH SCORING CHANCES

otherwise, you are talking about Jason Blake, lost of possession - very little actually generated

Where's our Russian insider, Adam?

Who is this Konstantin Okulov the Leafs are supposedly battling it out with the Habs for?

Bump for Adam...or MIB.

I live in Ottawa now. No longer a Russian asset.
