Should be a simple solution; play Matthews more.

Babcock keeps it at 19/19 between Matthews and Tavares to keep things fair and fresh between the two but if one of them is hurt, the other should play 22/23.

He's 29 with heavy mileage on him. He can't earn his pay now, imagine what it will look like at age 33 to 35. A reeally bad contract paying him for what he used to do. Not at all a fit for the Leafs

What Doughty is going through right now is plain and simple disinterest. He knows what a Cup winning team feels like and he knows he's not on one. Why do you think this rivalry with Tkachuk has started all of a sudden? It's pure frustration and distraction. He went from being on a Cup winning contender to a lottery team.

Quite simple change of scenery will return him to his previous glory. Stud D like Doughty don't just lose all their talent overnight. He's got a lot of gas left in the tank.

LA will be a sh!t team for some time IMO. When you talk about Return on Investment, hard to imagine worse that those two at this point. Again both are paid for what they used to do - ditto with Brown
