Wouldn't be surprised if he does get called up prior to this season's end.
If a winger gets injured, probably sooner than later. - EdmHockeyMan

I doubt he'd get that return. I'd like to see him on a pairing with Lagesson.
Nurse- Bear
Klefbom-
Willy- Larsson - MaximumBone
That would be interesting to see.
Klefbom-Jones too, if he gets called up. |

Tough to say. I'd probably say not before Yamo.

He has been the best player so far down there this year....unrealistic to maintain that pace but he has looked really good

Shero was clear as fuk that he wasn’t trading him.
Cause he’s smart.
But if they’re tanking and hall isn’t amenable to a deal, he may have no choice
I’d assume it’s at least 25+ games away tho.
Shero will do everything he can to keep him - HB77
Man if Friedman is saying something about it, you know it has water.
They have to turn it around fast though if they wanna keep him. Guy has to be done with poop teams.
I doubt the Oilers could resign him if he were to be traded thoguh. |

I miss Hall as well. Still think that Reinhart trade is the worst by far, based on potential possibilities.
In case you missed the post a few blogs back, I've pretty much-committed blasphemy and have denounced my faith in Larsson. #3 at best (on a decently structured defense). 40 point player = an illusion. Even reaching 30 points is improbable due to his offensive inconsistencies. |

Yeah, it looks like he has finally found his edges. Let's see how long he can keep it up and what it leads to. |

4/9 years I believe Hall has played more then 70 games and it’s gonna be a 9+ mil investment and long term.....it’s a gamble - RatedR80
I think in Edmonton's case it'd just be a rental honestly. I get that from the past history and Edmonton's media being utter female genitalias to him.
So yeah, a pretty big risk. |

Welcome to the team. It’s fairly lonely, but nonetheless, righteous

Bouchard could also be an option by the time Larsson is ready to return since that would be close to the half season point - RatedR80
This as well.
I agree with HB's comment in that next year's defensive corps could look completely different. |

Still say hall. Just cause we don’t know who we woulda picked. And it set us back offensively so massively
By all accounts not Barzal. Granted there were a bunch of studs after him still |

If he does resign, and that's a big if. I think to just keep him in Oiler silks will cost more than what we're willing to pay.
Only way he'd probably stay in EDM is 10m for 8 years at least. 11m isn't out of the possibility either. As much as I love hall, is he worth it at that point? |

Agreed. No reason to make the trade at all and it just butchered the team by stripping away assets during a very deep draft. |

20 million in cap space is nice, but again, does he want to deal with the toxic media? They put a lot of the blame on him when they were poop. |

I’ve already said no just based on health history alone....he also isn’t going to get younger so what are the chances of him being that 70+ game guy a season when he has done that for only half his career?
