Weird thing about Kappanen is that when he plays on the 3rd line, he looks like he deserves to be at least on the 2nd line, when put there, he looks lost! Just as well keep him on the 3rd line so he'll look like a 2nd line player!

I think it’s a confidence thing too. He took a couple tough plays early in the season and he wasn’t able to get back up to speed.
Hide him here for a bit in the lineup and keep him away from top shutdown lines and let him do his thing and he’ll regain that confidence. He’ll be fine.
