Why do we need to be depressed or shouting from rooftops?
I'd prefer to be cautiously optimistic - NorthNuck
I take it one game at a time. I don't expect to win the cup this year and I don't expect to finish bottom 5.
If they play well I enjoy it if they don't BFD . As long as it is entertaining and we move up this year I am good. |

It's definitely dying, I'd be shocked if they had a decent numbered under-30 audience and there's not really much they can do about it other than offer up the shows as podcasts with limited ads/sponsors. - Nucker101
How much of their audience are just sitting in their cars? |

I assume pretty much 99% of them are sitting in cars, but most of the people I know that are under 30 are listening to whatever they have downloaded unless they're listening to a live game or live news. |

I dl 650 podcasts... no commercials, read the description of whats being discussed. Listening live is something I cant do up here unless its on a player and I'm not using my data up on radio commercials and stuff like the Reech Deep show dedicating an hour to soup or a month long debate on whats better, tacos or sandwiches.
The guys on TSN radio in Winnipeg dedicated and hour on top 5 fruits. When their boss got back from vacation, he called them to the carpet and said never again pull that bs off on listeners... maybe 650 needs a bit of a kick in the nads.

Yeah, back when I had a job that had me stuck in traffic I used to listen to 1040 sometimes just to hear some hockey talk and those guys would go on about some celebrity or random food topic for a good 10-15 minutes, there are some amateur podcasts done by people these days that are more professional than that. But to be fair, these guys must run out of poop to talk about during the off-season after free agency dies out. Especially in a town that doesn't care too much about other sports, except for maybe the NFL. |

They should just let the players choose one - Nucker101
Remember when they had personalized goal songs for everyone? It was a poopshow when there was a deflection goal and they couldn't figure out whose to play |

I live in a place where I can walk to work in 15-20 minutes and driving anywhere in town never takes longer than 25.
I can't imagine having to deal with driving an hour+ to work and back every day, I'd probably go insane. |

Been there, thankfully I'm fortunate enough now to basically control my own hours and it's definitely made life a lot more enjoyable and makes me feel more "free" in general. |

3 straight wins by a non-playoff team against other non-playoff teams that were arguably deemed to be better than the Canuckleheads, poop man, be excited, shout from the roof tops.
Nope gotta be depressed and negative nancy, no credit here boys. You only beat other NHL teams that were trying to win also. - Makita

Having grown up and living in a place where everything is super close, I wouldn't want to live any other way. Even when I went to school in Vic I always made sure I was renting places that were walking distance to the uni.
If I were living in a big city like Van I'd definitely need to either control my own hours or work from home |

Apparently the Leafs offense EXPLODED for four goals against the Minnesota Wild last game. You're thinking they might repeat that incredible performance?
