It's not worth it for the Red Wings to trade Glenny unless they're getting back a 2nd round pick. He's not too old and the young guys look up to him because of his work ethic. But yeah he'd be very valuable to the Leafs or any playoff team. Him and Hyman would drive the Bruins right up the wall.

Leafs gave up a 1st to buyout Marleau. Don't think they'd have a problem with giving up a 2nd round pick for a legit bottom six center who can kill penalties. Kerfoot is more of a winger, would be nice to see Glenny playing 3C with Kerfoot and Soupy.

They gave up 2nds for rentals like Boyle and Plekanec but wouldn't pony up for Glenny who had term left on his contract. Never made sense to me why Holland and Lou couldn't make a deal.
