you just like to complain about Babcock - for whatever reason you can find.
It's good he doesn't change every game and gives players a fair chance to succeed.

- MaximusAurelius

And you like to complain about Nylander, Uggie likes to complain about backup goaltenders and our lack of Glendeningness in our bottom 6, and I like to complain about wingers playing on their off-wing...

I don't like some of his decisions, so I point them out.

Can we just be happy that the leafs got a win? I think their PK was perfect and they scored 2 goals on the PP? How is this anything to argue over?

I think they played well outside of a few stretches.. The Leafs were the better team..
No complaints from me, I just wish Babs moved Moore or Mikheyev to Tavares' line earlier.

I can guarantee you I was one of Marner's biggest fan on this thread this summer.

I bet kapanen was happy as hell to get moved off that top line. Looks like a big weight was lifted off his shoulders. He can get back to his game that makes him successful and not play his off wing and be a hyman.
- bryant

Not all players can be good on both sides. I'm just disappointed it took longer than the preseason for the BabRichard to figure out he's not just playing poorly, he was also something of a liability down the left. I was hoping to see the big Russian move up, but Moore played well there too.

To be fair to Babcock here, he has a team early in the season and wanted to give this line a chance. I'm sure apart of it was giving Kap a spot in the top 6 as he earned it.
- Aaron_85

That's my thought, too.

But I'm glad he finally changed it up. Kap can work to his strengths, now.

Nope. How dare the starter start the game he should always start.

Kap will look better on his natural side, playing with Mikheyev and Kerfoot..

Moore played very well on the Snakevares line so I'm not complaining but, I really would've loved to see him on that line and see what he could do with them.

The bigger debate is why were the power play opportunities even when Minnasota was thoroughly outplayed.

Leafs had 2 straight full seasons of that. One of the fastest and most skilled teams (which always get more power plays) in the league and they were dead-last in the entire NHL in power plays.

I'm glad that the Leafs have gotten a pretty good amount of power plays this season so far, though.

Looks like the NHL really does hate Kadri.

He already did, and if the Taveras line keeps rolling tonight the Leafs have a shot.

Hyman can get back in the lineup as soon as next week (10 games) so it'll be interesting to see where Coach puts Moore. Likely back to 4th line with the Goat.

Anybody else like Timashov? Admittedly I haven't been watching that closely but every time I see him he's finishing checks and forechecking hard. Not sure he's done enough to bump Shore/Spezza from the picture though. Petan is out ....

We'll see if Colorado is last in power play opportunities, somehow I think it's a Leaf thing though.
