I assume the Leafs will do both. I also have to assume the Leafs sports science have had input on the best strategy.
Contenders need to get the job done. Win despite all these little obstacles. I'm not going to cry about who starts what game in b2b - senstroll
Already, Andersen was wasted in the game against Columbus and tonight against Minnesota. Those are wins with Hutchinson in net. But they lost to the Habs and that probably doesn't happen with Andersen in net. Might lose tomorrow against Washington and they have two more back to back situations with Boston and Montreal coming up that Hutchinson will play. It'll make a big difference by the end of the year. |

It's hit and miss. Sometimes he drinks before big playoff games. |

You kick and scream when the Leafs play Freddy too hard and get too many shots.
Then when Babcock lightens his load on a B2B you still kick and scream.
Your constant complaining is worrying. |

If he doesn't change, they need a better back-up, simple as that.
If the Leafs had a goalie like Halak, then sure, let him play against good teams. But with Hutchinson, you're basically gifting points to division rivals. |

Is Andersen still playing 1 of the 2 games?
So how is his load being lightened?
It's not that he's playing too many games in back to backs, it's that they're using him in the wrong games. You follow? |

Marner "not producing" still had him on pace for 82 points.
So...people still female dogy about Mitchy because of the contract. |

I know, it's silly. People were acting like he's going to turn in a 60 point season, when 100 is more likely. |

McBackup had a SV% of over .930...didn’t play 20 games. Babs rides his starters, and plays them in the first of a b2b. |
