Good stuff Carol.
4-2 Wings tonight.

Demko struggles a bit in first start.

Honest question here.
You predict the Canucks to be better this year, an increase in points overall, but not make the playoffs. Yet you have predicted every game so far as a loss, what gives flatlander? |

Hate to say this, but I am guessing that Detroit wins tonight, Demko with a rough start. |

Maybe that's why Green changed up to go with 2 defensive lines to protect Demko more. |

He was the best single source on twitter for Canucks news. Never reported heavily on false leads, was usually one of if not the first to report on most things |

Everything is 50/50 with him. One day screaming for fans to stop jumping to conclusions, next day, making up stories yelling and screaming about the sky falling.
Leading up to Brock's contract signing, he set a fire saying the Canucks don't have cap space to sign BB. It was part of Friedmans 31 thoughts... no cap space for Brock. The following day EF was on Sportsnet 650 and he started to get drilled by the afternoon hosts about his cap comment and where did he come up with it? You could tell EF was feeling pressure and just came out with it and said "your station was my source". Later that day Dhaliwal said EF gave him hell because he called Friedman while he was in his mini van dropping F bombs while his kids we in the vehicle because he was so pissed about the Canucks having cap space for "a million other players but not Brock"(actual quote). Then a couple of days later Brock signs. So that kind of looks bad for everyone on SN. EF's source was bullpoop and an employee of SN as well. It kind of exposed what EF is willing to call a source and report. Bad for business on both sides...
Now I'm not sure this was the reason but I think there is a line you can cross only so often while covering your local team when your the flagship station for the Canucks. There is probably other non professional behavior catching up to him as well.
He also has an on going feud with their producer... another fkn idiot Andrew Walker.
I hate the Toronto market but the only thing I have a grass is greener sentiment to is their radio hosts on TSN 1050. It's like our hosts(almost all of them) are a bunch of immature hipster douches at work who kill time at the water cooler talking nothing but bullpoop compared to Toronto's well informed, well spoken, much more mature and often experienced in hockey representatives. Envy. |

If we didnt have a goalie and left the net open, he'd predict a win. It's all about the goalies.

He's been exposed enough... not just on Brock but look at the bullpoop he spread about the Edler contract. Wasnt even in the same galaxy and it was literally signed a day or two after he reported no communication far apart going to be a while etc.... turns out they were talking and money and term was waaaay less.
I think he blew a lot of smoke.
