No way. But D Sikura is a descent able NHL center.

When has Sikura played center? He didn't play center in college

Not over enthusiastic at all. Other than Dach he's the best prospect since the dark days ended. Really a different caliber of talent then we have seen since Toews and Kane came up.

Saad was an athlete where people questioned his mental fortitude (I don't think he has a problem there I just think that he's not the type of pure goalscorer that people assumed he would be and that is a problem.) And El Gato was a hockey player but not what you would consider an elite level athlete based on his size and foot speed (which to his credit he has overcome and proven to be quite the player).

Boqvist is pretty close to the total package in terms of skill level, athleticism and skating ability and racking up at all levels. Unless he gets his bell rung a few more times or becomes injury riddled in some other way he will be an exciting and dynamic player to watch in the next year or two.

So was Akim Aliu...

He and another were top point producers on same line. I do not know whom played center.

If he gets the defensive part of being a dman he's going to be amazing, if he doesn't than he'll get a lot of pub but be a liability in his own end like Karlsson

Going into the season I had the Central looking like:
1-2 STL/DAL
3 NSH
4-6 CHI/COL/WIN
7 MIN

The more I see COL, the more I think they're going to run away with the conference if they stay healthy.

I had Col leading our division. I figured they would be tough. It was just goaltending I wasn't too sure about. It's only the start of the season, but I see it being a wild finish in the western conference. I think we have the toughest division.

SportsNet did a piece on COL talking about the moves they made in the off-season. They’ve essentially created a 2nd line from scratch - and it’s pretty good.

I didn't know that was their second line. Pretty good. I have my concerns about Kadri. I know that they are top line heavy, but I thought with so many young guys, they would dominate & only go up from there.

Comparisons are fraught with inaccuracies, but Makar reminds of Keith in how he plays his position - kid has impressed me since last year’s playoffs.

Makar has more offensive talent in his left nut than Keith. That is taking nothing away from Keith defensively.

Whether Makar has the defensive tenacity that Keith has, in his own zone, will be determined later.

A better comparison for Makar is Drew Doughty.

Penguins looking good early this season despite missing half of their forwards. They might have one more run left in their tank. Though I doubt anyone beats a healthy Bruins team in 7 games.

Keith is his prime was every bit as good offensively as Doughty IMO.

Doughty has always been a bigger offensive threat, especially individually.

Keith a HOFer...
