Habs are looking pretty good so far, and it’s the two high paid veterans letting them down. Weber looks awful and Price can’t make a save.

Watch out for Cayden Primeau! First two pro games in Laval and he has a .943 save percentage

- QuickSCF

Complete nonsense. Price has been excellent despite many quality chances being given to the other teams.

I do think Primeau looks like the real deal though.

He has Karl Alzner in front of him tho, so he's hardly challenged.

Isn't Alzner a LHD? They can play together.

I think that a retarded statement, you probably didnt whatch much this year

Mete skates better than anybody on that team, he wont ever generate much goal wise but he generate plenty off the rush and is pass are pretty good. Not his fault there a lack of talent to finish his plays, And again, not his fault he next to Weber, there nobody else. he should be a 3rd pairing D right now becoming a 2nd pairing D. NOT a 1st pairing D

Never liked Lekhonen, but even I have to admit he playing good right now, good effort level, great D, made some nice offensive plays... (AKA is hard working goal after weal missed a goal my grandma would have completed, or his pass ot Domi that led to a goal)

how about we get frustrated again that Weal is playing so much on the PP, WTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ?

- Xizord

The fact that we have Mete, Lehkonen and Weal playing where they are in the lineup and they're usage/deployment was more the genesis of my frustration and point.

They're faster and more exciting to watch with better compete level.....but still fundamental flawed in their overall construction. Even more so if you factor in trying to win with Weber and Price.

Also, i'm retarded. Good eye!

Lehkonen is still 10 times as useful as Suzuki. Send the kid back in the AHL until he can play without being knocked on his ass every 30 seconds. He's in way over his head.

calling someone's statement "retarded" is always a great way to begin a friendly back and forth.

i'm gonna try that sometime.

It's hard to bash the powerplay this year since well... it's considerably better than it was last year. I'd rather see KK thrive in there instead of Weal but.... if it's not broken...

But I thought the future was now? Or is it bright? Is it coming?

He obviously needs to make adjustments and develop as a pro, but I don't feel like "he's in way over his head". Not against sending him to Laval and spend some time under Joel, but he's not light-years away from being ready

Lehkonen is very useful and defensively sound. No denying that. I have zero issues with that part of his game. We need that on this team.

My question is on Julien relying on him for offense in the top 6 role. Shouldn't be there. He can't bury his chances......we've seen that over and over and over.

I got my hopes up with his offense in his rookie year when he scored 18 and he looked like he could score more because, in that year, he still missed a ton of opportunities while potting 18.
