Yeah. The Mete-Weber pairing is having trouble.

They played under 20 min yesterday.... only the third time Weber plays under 20 since he's in Montreal.

KK missed one defensive coverage and got sent down as a winger on the 4th line (Fredo must have been pleased) which was stupid. He's been one of the team's best player since the season started and his line has produced constant offensive opportunities.

But hey, overall the game was close against probably the most complete roster in the league... let's not make it worst than it is.

Need to beat the Wild now!

Yes, it was close, all things considered. We need to bury more opportunities. Onward and upwards and we will see how it plays out moving forward. Even one key/impact addition would be nice.

Loving the speed game that's for sure!

Vasilevskiy had a great game as well, didn't give them much openings.

They could have made things harder for him.

But yeah, he's a great goalie.

Thought Habs looked small and got pushed around too easily. They never had any guys in the slot. You can't beat a goalie like that with peripheral shots.

Poehling instead of Suzuki would give them a little more size.

This will get tougher for them as the season moves on and atrophy won't make it any easier. Not every player is like Gallagher and is built for a lengthy battle. Habs need help and size with speed.

against teams like Carolina, Tampa, Toronto, teams that move the puck quickly and play at pace, he's ineffective.

So from what I understand Mete had less ice time because Weber was utterly useless yesterday?

Are we done with the (frank)ing Lehkonen and Mete experiments? Jesus Christ....Lek couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

And can we give Petry Weber's contract and Weber Petry's contract??

MB better make some moves if he wants this years group to make the playoffs. If not it's going to be another long summer.

I think that a retarded statement, you probably didnt whatch much this year

Mete skates better than anybody on that team, he wont ever generate much goal wise but he generate plenty off the rush and is pass are pretty good. Not his fault there a lack of talent to finish his plays, And again, not his fault he next to Weber, there nobody else. he should be a 3rd pairing D right now becoming a 2nd pairing D. NOT a 1st pairing D

Never liked Lekhonen, but even I have to admit he playing good right now, good effort level, great D, made some nice offensive plays... (AKA is hard working goal after weal missed a goal my grandma would have completed, or his pass ot Domi that led to a goal)

how about we get frustrated again that Weal is playing so much on the PP, WTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ?

Habs are looking pretty good so far, and it’s the two high paid veterans letting them down. Weber looks awful and Price can’t make a save.

Watch out for Cayden Primeau! First two pro games in Laval and he has a .943 save percentage
