Habotage strikes again. - Steven_Seagull
I took a bunch of Oilers this week, that should pretty much put an end to their season...and mine. |
|
|
|
Really? You have an issue with them but not Brown? - AdamFrench
the moustache alone makes him deserve a place in that lineup.
(and i'm really surprised nobody mentioned ian white yet - shows how many bad d-man leafs had over last 25 years )

Well to be fair, it's a pretty deep draft.
But still disappointing. |

he's pretty clearly not comfortable on the left side... why Babcock continues to push this thing...
swap him with Mikheyev or Moore or whoever...
not helping Kapanen , not helping Tavares and Marner either.... dumb to continue |

White had two great years. Sad to see his fall. |

Babcock is all about long term , and he probably wants to give Kapanen a fair chance to get more familiar and succeed in his new 'challenge'.
For all the criticism Babcock gets, he's actually quite consistent in giving younger players a fair chance and not throwing them under the bus after 1 game. |

To be fair, he did say it was only about players he saw play. |
|
|
|
In what world does this lineup require tinkering to the point you legitimately need to test out a marincin/Holl pairing.
LOL. Babcock should be put in a home for that one. |

I’d give him a few more games myself, plus line 3 and 4 were better then 1-2 last game 🤷🏻♂️

I remember this when I next picnic or visit a park... and find a seagull gets annoying close.
Small rocks look so much like fries - after you baited them with the first two or three
unfortunately - if you hit them in the head you don't really do much damage

Babcock understands that you treat the really talented (Marner and Nylander) different than the others. |

Not remotely connected to what we are talking about but sure I'll bite.
Brown/Z for Ceci/Harp I would say so far goes to Ottawa. It's been only Ceci so far and he's been pretty poop defensively. Brown playing well in all situations, and even Z hasn't been too bad. It's early but...
