Goalies can control rebounds a lot better than players can, and I bet you that one day, just like we found out that hard-hitting, slow defensive defenseman are next to useless, that we'll find out shot blocking isn't helpful.

I went with Yamaha CD player and amp, and some Technique speakers. It's not top of the line, but honestly, I don't know what I'd be paying for if it was any better. |

Yeah, I'm familiar with that hilarious article, but to be honest, back then, I liked them. I got no problem with overt snobbism, if it's directed at things I hate !

Hey if you're an audiophile, maybe you could explain the loudness dial for me. I understand that it's supposed to equalize the sounds when listening at a low volume, but all it seems to do is make everything really quite.

Technique and Yamaha is decent starter stuff. Boston Acoustics for your next set of speakers. Stay away from BOSE. "no highs no lows it must be BOSE"
