I don't disagree that the 5v5 scoring as a whole could be better. Just not sure how to change it up where it would actual help is all.

I think everyone would like to see more scoring at 5v5. We are technically 14th in 5v5 scoring, however we are 6th amongst teams that played 5 games. We are also 7th in 5v5 goals against and 3rd with teams that played the same amount of games.
We have even strength goals from 9 different players in 5 games played. I think we are looking pretty good for a team with a new coach and a new player on each of the top 3 lines.

I guess this fits into the whole "looks can be deceiving" thing. Based on the stats, they're doing pretty well 5v5. Or at least, better than I thought.

Unless you're going above and beyond in the engine safety department, those engines aren't reliable enough with just normal modifications.

I don't think we have relied on the PP really. With the exception of the blowout against NJ, each game has had the same amount of special teams goals for each team. I would expect the PP to cool down some, but I also expect the PK to improve from 77% which should even things out.

It does inflate the PP stats as well. 3 in that game alone. 5 in the other 4 games combined, which is why I don't think they are really relying on it.

I should have clarified further. I have no need to mod either of the subarus that I have. I have an Outback and an Impreza. I'm leaving them as is because my wife will be driving the Impreza, while I drive the Outback. My first Impreza only had slight modifications. It wouldn't have been able to compete with a WRX, let alone an STI, but I keep my cars close to the trim level they are.

Bishop has had are number, hopefully with the new system they can get him moving a little more and create some open spaces.

It's probably true.

I have a hard time watching their games, out of sheer hatred for the team as a whole.

I'd still prefer that team to crash and burn this season. The expectations are ridiculously high and it seems like they are under performing. I wasn't accounting for strength of schedule, but I still appreciate that they are 1-4-1, and hope they leave Buffalo 1-5-1.

Hell Hintz with 4 and Seguin with 2 are the only multi goal players

We had two pretty crucial PPGs against Montreal too. But I am in the camp where the PP has not been carrying us. And our 5v5 scoring is just fine.

Bishop scares me. Their top line scares me. But they don’t have the depth to deal with Buffalo. They can’t match our hunger and our heart.
