Funny how life works.
After days of some posters on here say the supporting cast is bad they blow them out of the water.
And they can’t even say “it’s one game” because they have been whining about things that only happened in one game. - Santo_44
Who said anything about the supporting cast?
The clear issue is with nylander / johnsson / kapanen and getting a good #3c (kerfoot is a winger) |

What haven't you liked about Kerfoot? Bottom 6 has been solid all season except against TB when they took too many penalties. |

I have liked him so far - just more of a winger than an actual C.

His faceoff numbers haven't been great, but his line has been driving possession and not getting caved in, so I'm fine with letting him evolve into that role. |

Don’t bother with him.
He is blind to the fact when he is wrong and he will never admit it, just let him obsess over the players he hates and loves and laugh. |

You’ve never ever changed your mind about any player ever that you’ve obsessed about.
So yeah, why bother having a hockey discussion? |

He's not been that bad actually - 50% before yesterday and 2nd most faceoffs on the team.
Was bad yesterday though; only 3 of 11 won...

I think he’s been better in the 6 games than Kadri was last year.
Small sample size...but I think Kerfoot fits the 3C role better.
It’s going to be tough breaking that line apart if they continue this until Hyman comes back....we may see Kappy on the 4th line. |

BTW, Leaf fans are dumb. I am reading on Twitter Leafs are missing Kadri to "Stick-up" for teammates...
Have people already forgotten the last 2 years in the playoffs? LOL |

It's the current narrative. Most can't even think for themselves. It's pretty pathetic.
Those same ones complaining about missing kadri to stick up for teammates are exactly the same ones that were ripping him saying to trade him for a bag of pucks because of the playoffs.
(All) Teammates should be sticking up for (all) teammates, not just one designated guy. |

I don't even need to watch TSN, Leafs TV, Overdrive, Sportsnet, HNIC or listen to The Fan 590 because the Leafs fans I work with will just parrot what those guys say as their own opinions. I always wait until they're done and then ask... "Now do you have an opinion of your own?" They stare back at me like a 12 year old being caught for cheating on a test.
Like they could at least change the wording and be less obvious about it. It always feels like I'm having a conversation with Darren Dreger. 😂I mean the Leafs fanbase is so huge so you're going to get your fair share of morons. The Leaf fans I know outside of my workplace are very knowledgeable and can think for themselves.
Now most Red Wings fans are complete morons and I can't make any excuses for them. They'll just parrot what the slappy media tells them. Let's listen to the announcers! No bias there! They're being paid by the Red Wings. It must be the truth! 😂 |

The media always tries to find a story line after every game and its why so many Leaf fans flip flop through their emotions of the team. One day the media is saying the Leafs will be 1st in the league after a win and the next day they will lose and the media is talking about Babcock getting fired.
They also employ some people just to play devils advocate...cough cough Craig Button and Darren Dregger.
Its all about generating hits and conversation and too many sad saps fall into it. |

Pretty much. most leaf fans I know personally can think for themselves, but a lot of them posting on things like Twitter and this site often are just plagiarizing what the media says. It's pretty sad really. |

Absolutely. It runs deeper than just trading away Kadri. Leafs are soft en masse, specifically designed that way. |

I think Tampa know they're gonna waltz into the playoffs. We may need to pick up points against playoff teams to make it as we probably won't have as big a cushion as them. We already lost to a susptected bubble team |
