Keep Kadri, don’t sign JT, trade Willy for Tkachuk, sign Panarin... etc.. I know hindsight is 20/20 but they could have went a different direction with a heavier physical presence and it feels like it would have worked better. Dubas airballed on the style he chose to use.

Afraid of the hits from behind...probably, but he couldn't fight worth a damn...no NHL'er with even modest fighting skills was afraid of Roman.

The Leafs don’t have that. Why do we need two elite centermen? Kadri was a good enough 2C. They didn’t need to go get Tavares. That being said, I don’t care that he did. But I sort of expected them to trade Nylander for defensive help. Now they’re up against the cap, and will have a hard time adding that right piece at the right time. We don’t need two very good (albeit soft) RW’s. We don’t have a capable 1LW (Panarin was the hypothetical). Leafs have a lot of flaws and so many of you’s are in denial.
