Trudeau just paid off a woman who was a 'young female' at West Grey Academy when he taught there 2.25 million in a non-disclosure agreement.

Sorry. couldn't help myself.

St. Louis, now Tampa, another good test.

It certainly doesn't disprove it.

You made the claim and didn't prove it.

It's more about luck and staying healthy than anything else.

Meh, you build the best core of players possible and hope for the best.

Difference between a good team and a bad one has never been smaller.

Yeah no.... that's not a real story.

Please stop spewing nonsense unless it's hockey related.

I'd tell you to stop saying nonsense altogether but that might be asking a bit much.

Yep, sucks. Blow it up, but don’t try to build properly. Won’t matter anyway.

It was a fun 2 games though right?

If it were that simple they'd hand out the Cup in a doctor's office after a coin toss.

I claimed superior offensive teams win as often in the playoffs as superior defensive teams, then I told you each type of team won an equal amount of playoff series in the past 5 years. That certainly doesn't indicate that defense is the most important way to win.

All I'm saying is the President's Trophy is a better indicator of who the best team in the league is than the Stanley Cup.

And that claim wasn't proven. You didn't even get the right number of series played.

Not really. Divisions aren't balanced and the number of games played against every other opponent isn't either.

Although, President Trophy winners win the Cup more than any other seed.

If Bruins were healthy they would have been the ones skating around with the cup.

It's not perfect but it's better than a mini elimination tournament that only features half the teams.

Playoffs is definitely better. The season is part of the tournament and it eliminates half of the teams, the majority of them who suck.

The playoff format is what needs to be fixed.

I did, but the teams that were better offensively and defensively were counted twice, which is why it added up to 82, not 75.

So what is he actually saying here then?

Isnt he the coach and the one putting the systems and processes in place?
Is he saying that the players are not listening?
Is he saying the players the GM gave him are too "high octane"?

the other thing is that the Leafs had the edge in place at 5v5 against Boston, they were a good. the PK (or boston PP) were the difference. Freddy also let in some shyte ones in game 7.

I get its great to say "play the right way" and everyone goes..yes yes..that the answer.

But again, what is Babcock saying with that statement? he has to be part of the issue, if there is indeed one with too much octane...as he puts it

- senstroll

Pretty sure BB outplayed us 5v5 goal adjusted and outshot us.
