Good lord I love the leafs and their fans. If there is one thing I can count on its the leafs being garbage when it counts, whether they have a good team or a bad one. Been over a decade of fun and some nice bets won. Never stop GLG

It was a smart choice putting your pride aside and betting on the leafs over the sens all those times.

Blow it up and rebuild properly.
- Steven_Seagull

As I've said numerous times you can keep most of the core. Just have to change the supporting cast.

I'm hoping this becomes evident in 2 or 3 more years. Until then we should trade for some offensive defensemen and undersized wingers. The last thing opposing teams will suspect is us quadrupling down

Generally, you cannot convince someone who values skill amd advanced stats above everything else that there's other things needed to win hockey games. They just won't allow the conversation to happen. When you try to explain, all they can think of is Orr and McLaren, despite no one ever saying those are the types of players you need.

This whole thing will run its course and in a number of years we can try again to get the make-up of the roster correct.

*sigh*

You’re right.

Watching the French language debate. Talk about exciting. What’s the over-under on how many times Trudeau will mention Doug Ford... lolol

Wave after wave of undersized wingers and offensive defensmen can wear a team down.

It's funny that Ford has a gag order on him from the federal Conservatives during the campaign because he's such a stupid jackass, so Trudeau keeps taking shots at him and there's nothing Ford can do.

Yeah, but they can't do that because Ford's in power now, that looks desperate and not taking ownership to go back to that.

Marner is basically a PP specialist at this point. That’s worth $11M now?

He’d better turn around. Otherwise Bobcock will be in trouble this season, and Dubas next season.

- gamerdoc

A PP specialist? Almost as stupid as the idea of sitting him. Jesus.

I'm just hoping it's a minority government either way because both of the major parties are sacks of dog poop.
