The first step would be to take Kap off that line.

I mean I doubt Hyman was the glue but he sure helped and JT/Marner seem like they are just waiting for the puck to come to them.

Matthews has shown up every game this year. Not just putting up points but has been pretty dominant in every game.

Marner is fine. They’re heating up a bit now, you can see it. He does a lot of stuff well, he deserves the A imo.

Just those b!tch-ass b!itches playing like a bunch of Nancy’s is an issue.

It's not accountability. It's literally scapegoating. Guys have picked Marner to be the scapegoat because of his inflated contract. He hasn't played 11M good, but he hasn't even been that bad. Rielly/Muzzin/Kap/Tavares/Andersen have all been a bit lackluster to start the season, but I'm not panicking because it's only game 5. There will be ups and downs and some guys start slow and get going.
Andersen is godawful every goddamn October but you deal with it because he's a fantastic goalie.

It's honestly mind blowing with the talent we have in 4 or 5 players (maybe even 6 or 7) that management decided to fill the roster out with lesser versions of those players.

If you start with a blank piece of paper with Matthews, Tavares, Marner, Nylander, Rielly and Andersen on it, how can you not put together a team that actually looks solid, can play the physical game with speed and not crumble whem pressurized?

He hasn't been that bad. He really hasn't. He needs to be better, but picking him as a scapegoat is just the fun thing to do. He's being hyper-analyzed because they're playing against Point who was a comparable and doing really well tonight.
