I don't mind the thought of trying other players there.
Vesey has shown exactly jackpoop so far, he keeps playing g this way it is an easy bye-bye decision for Botts.

I’m happy with the results to date.

Weird thing - in my view - is our best players let us down last night. Dahlin two bad penalties both resulting in CBUS goals, and jack with that horrible turnover.

I don’t think that will be repeated very often.

third line was invisible
first line was invisible

pk blah

dahlin 2 lazy penalties

got outshot big time in a loud road arena

ullmark stole us a point, and I will take it and be happy with 5 points in 6 games

the past few years that would have been a 5 to 1 score type game

Torts outcoached Kruegs. C-Bus came out flying, threw our own game in our face and we couldn't quite adjust. Then when they were up and started to trap, we didn't adjust well enough to that either. As long as they learn from this we will be fine.

Positives: They battled. Even though it was sloppy, they worked hard. They didn't completely fall apart when then were down. And, to play that poorly and still get a point is a plus.

they got outworked.. they seemed to be trying to be more "cute" last night as well. a couple times they should have shot the puck but forced a 10% chance pass that was stolen. Also much less puck possession, i feel like they strayed from the game plan a little.

I was worried, down 2-0 at the end of 1. History tells me that the team will fall apart, and that there will not be a way back into the game.

They fight back and tie.

I then see 3-2 with 2:30 left, and I tell myself, well it's over, but they are not folding.

They tie it again, and it's anyone's game in OT.

I think the team as a whole will learn from it, and Krueger will have to use this game as a learning experience for the coaching staff and the team.

Overall, I like the results so far. 5 out of 6 points isn't bad at all.

Seth Jones is elite.

Posting long rants about Sobotka are a waste of energy.

They played like this during the streak until Tampa put them in their place and Housley never recovered.

This is where we figure out what Ralph can do. Can he recover, or will he cower?

It's still early in the season, but I think Ralph can figure it out.

I really hope he rearranged the garbage cans in the locker room. Nelson told me that was a huge issue last year.

I agree, we stole a point. Tougher game than it seemed. I will take it on the road, these points matter come April.

Yup they came out flat and didn’t skate. Which makes absolutely no sense. Not like they were overworked game schedule wise.
