Hasek was the best hockey player to ever play for the sabres, but Perreault was the best Sabre, if that makes any sense.

It's not even close in all honesty. Hasek was a revelation at the position. They had to make the rest of the goalie's pads bigger so they stopped looking so bad compared to him.

He is the goaltending equivalent to Gretzky.

Athleticism, talent, work-ethic (the man deserved to be paid and there's no excuse). He was insane.
