Gotta keep in mind that some of those awful gaps on D were the product of a good Jets team. I was at the game and that team is still in sync regardless of the subtractions they had.

One thing a lot of us noticed in my area was the Jets outhit the Rangers for better than 2:1 for the first two periods. Rangers began the physicality part of their game and played a better third period.

Goals against just seconds after scoring a goal...that sh!t has to stop.

That was infuriating. Twice they scored as I was sitting down after celebrating a Rangers goal.

I really can't wait for the next game. I also can't wait for Hughes to get crushed into boards tonight and for all the overreaction.

I was taking my kid home hockey practice right after the jets took the lead and he was looking at the play by play and he said the first line was out and I said well I wish they'd score, no joke 4 seconds later they did, it was funny.

It's dumb, it's not like the Rangers passed on Hughes for Kakko. The Devils were the ones who passed on Kakko for Hughes. Really the pressure is all on them

Prior to Neal Pionk's game-tying goal for the Jets, Jack Hughes had a shift that lasted 3:08, with a Devils icing tossed in there, and he spent pretty much all of it in the defensive zone. He was on the ice when Pionk scored.

D pairs ..Cmon Staal Trouba ? just too slow for speed game ,2nd goal Wheeler blew down right side & beat him to spot...GOAL
I could see Hijak Trouba played sum when Z bad got sprung for breakaway goal
Fox Shey would be something , Staal A dA
Keep the rooks apart for now , Staal dosnt have to play all the time ,what about Smith ?
KK to 1st line ... will that be Big , bet we see a shift or 2 tonite

I expect a more settled game ,on road & settled from the hype of opening nite

now its start to grind when the bottom 6 play & fly when the top 6 get on ice

i like buchny krieds Strome as a 2nd if the get aggressive ,not gonna wow with sticklhandling but can be power with Strome reading & setting table ,need krieds in front a lot more not just PP

damn glad that power play goal went in. Panarin is super patient on it. Buchnevich needs to one timer, granted he also needs to be a right handed shot where he stands on the power play.

I can’t be the only one that can’t stand Nam. He literally adds nothing to this team in my open opinion. Much rather have Nieves in the lineup.

Yea he has brought nothing since he got here. If it wasn't for the 4 million salary he probably would have been moved in the offseason.
