Only saw the first 2 periods. I thought Hellebuyck sucked. Henry was real good. 27 shots for the Rags and 47 for The Jets

Seems weird to be tradable after passing through waivers. unless a team would of claimed him but have to many contracts

I can think of a few other players I would love to put on waivers that nobody would take for free but suddenly after nobody did they would be worth mid round picks😂

Good for Ho Sang. Attitude got him exactly where he belongs. There is always Europe.

"Problem is his value couldn't be any lower right now." Well if you keep sending him to the AHL and only call a guy up when everyone including the popcorn vendor is sick it tends to get to a guy.

I can vouch as a hockey parent. Many times it feels like you are banging your head against a wall hearing maybe next year or he is close or just keep trying. After a while your attitude is F U. He is at that point and I don't blame him. He knows he isn't getting called up. If Wahlstrom plays well the Isles will find a home for him (probably by releasing or sending Johnson down). Fritz is ahead of him on that chart. And it is not just based on talent but what the internally think of him. So I don't blame him. Sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns. Force a trade. The Isles say if it makes sense for the organization. Why? He is down the depth chart right now. Who is giving the Isles a 2nd-th rd pick for him? No one unless packaged. If I were him if they don't trade him I would refuse to show up and force the Isles to terminate his contract. They probably would keep his rights until year's end but he could play in Europe and show what he could do and then as a FA next year hook on with someone else. It is evident the Isles won't give him another contract.

You don’t blame Ho Sang? I don’t blame anyone for sending him through waivers but Ho Sang. It’s entirely his fault nobody else’s but his. Period. All self inflicted. The guy did crap in Bridgeport pretty much the entire time he was there and ignored our coaches with the big club. His self imposed, imaginary value just became really evident when any team could have had him for free and not one team bit. Hysterical how he says he wants a trade after not one team picked him up on waivers. He lives in an imaginary world that a lot of youth does today unfortunately. I’m sure his parents tell him it’s not his fault constantly and to keep doing what he’s doing. Next stop KHL. 👋

If it was just a situation that started with the Isles, maybe I'd say Ho-Sang was getting a raw deal...it's not like this organization has always made perfect decisions when it's come to prospects. But every coach he's had since even before juniors seems to say the same thing: They're always rooting really hard for him, he's a great kid, his ability is off the charts, but he never adjusts his game to fit into a team concept. He'll never get it...he'll be useful to a team only if it molds itself around him instead of asking him to fit into the team system. And really, he's not good enough to build an entire team and system around.

Of course and as we know I have no issue pointing that out. This is not an example of that this is all on the kid.

In retrospect we should have probably realized that anyone who looked up to Mario Lemieux is probably a friggin moron.

i mean, drafted 1st overall, won the cup multiple times, scored 100 points in a season when he had cancer, then bought the team that drafted him, it's pretty badass. he is kind of a whiny lil female dog though. but i suppose you can be a bit of a diva when that poop's on your resume 🤔

As an Islander fan I like to focus on the Whiny btch part, He complained throughout his hole career about everything from grabbing to slashing to anytime someone touched him but at the same time would cheap shot everyone trying to get a reaction penalty. Complained about tons of teams and how they played the game despite having some of the dirtiest players in the league on his team Matt Cooke, LaPierre, Sesitto, James Neal, Ulf Samuelsson, Steve Durbano, and even would go get guys they previously complained about to the world to play for them like Kasper.

He is a fantastic talent and a class a Hypocritical D-bag.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxnJrBEa3-M Perfect Mario.. Cross checks a guy from behind into the boards, flops when he comes back at him even though he has a good 8 inches on him.. Holds his stick and when he pushes him to get his stick he flops again.. guy was an a-hole and still is
