I hope he gets his speed back as he gets back into game shape. If not, then he should definitely be moved to RW

Thanks Carol!

Lefty, the Avalanche are in the Central, with Winnipeg, St. Louis etc. They can’t finish 3rd in the Pacific.

Green won't do it yet but Guadette will probably do a better job then Sutter at center.

Leivo Gaudette JV should be the line to cultivate going forward.

That current 3rd line is about as awkward as it gets so pretty much any half-decent alternative will look better on paper. LE and Sutter have played together enough over the years, at this we know that they suck together, only time they looked decent was when Dorsett was playing with them and lighting it up during that 10-15 game stretch a couple of years ago, and back then Sutter was faster. Now he and both LE look slower than ever and Leivo isn't the fastest or most physical either. None of them are good at carrying the puck through the neutral zone and gaining the zone with possession.

Basically it's a slow and soft 3rd line, the worst of both worlds. At least a Baertschi - Gaudette - Sutter/Virtanen line would bring more skill and speed to the table.

Not only does it look bad on paper and on the ice... but JB added players so Green wouldnt have to put a top 9 together like that but Green is scared the 3rd line may turn over pucks even though they would produce more offense. Meanwhile, his version is give away pucks and give us a Jimmy Hoffa offense presence.

Green seems to be giving those 2 their chance to prove that they can still score. Thinking defensively they will be sound. None of that is proving true. But of course they'll fluke one in and buy more time ugh.

Andrew Walker praising Sutter's performance last night. Thinks he scored the first goal.

Says only a few players in the world would of cashed in on Sutter's turn over... Huh? He bounced the puck off a linesman's back and the puck was splitting the D facing the wrong direction before Conner even touched it... any decent scorer gets his chance on the GT after that.

He's an idiot.

Probably. I know guys who go hours of catching no fish using the wrong fly compared to everyone else getting action all day. They eventually fluke and catch a fish and that convinces them that they should keep using that fly. Some people are so simple minded.

Play the vets cause they have done it before and know how to play mentality. Its predictable conservative deployment.

Anyone see the video of Hoglanders elbowing penalty? Looks bad. Wonder how long he'll get suspended for.

650 is in the middle of a long soup argument(15 min now) and by the sounds of it, they've been arguing off and on about it for a long time. Talking twitter posts about soup... hard debate.

They talked more about thee Canucks in Aug. You'd think the Canucks didnt play last night.

Maybe I should rename the players on the 3rd line soup ingredients in Twitter to get the ball rolling on Canucks talk on their dumb (frank) show..

- boonerbuck

How the hell can you argue over soup??
