You're in great shape!
I've been retired from hockey pools since the days when I had to manually put the spreadsheet together. I have no idea how this Yahoo madness works.
I'm logged in. Do I just stay on my team page till 6:45, when the draft floor opens?
Is there a chat room in there where we can trash talk, or is it all business?
ps. I wrote about the Green Day partnership this morning - I think it'll be OK.

Look to the right side of the page Carol it says Mock Draft . I suggest you do a test run now to get the feel for it. It will help you immensely
I would go do one now incase you want to prep . It takes about 20 minuts - VANTEL
Thanks. Apparently I have to wait 6 minutes to give this a go. I guess there's no harm if I end up bowing out early.

Good write up!
I agree with what many have said, it's not the most conventional partnership, but it's always cool to see 2 of my favorite things combined!
I think we're going to see them on their next tour. Seattle or Toronto, haven't decided yet. |

Not at all. They stayed with independent labels, came from a real nasty street scene lived it all. Before Rancid they were Operation Ivy. Hard ska band. Tim was guitar for UK Subs at one point. I don't like Tim very much but he's real. I knew some guys from the old SKUNK crew. They use to come up to Van.
All the old school punks/skin bands made good money from the pop scene in their golden age... even when they never sold out... their records still sold 1000 fold compared to the 80's when the scenes were tiny. - boonerbuck
I'm well aware of who rancid are, I stand by my comments. Their music is very poppy, became even more so over the years. Love the band. I had an op-ivy t-shirt in high school, classic art deco visual/cover. They were inspired by the ramones, another very poppy band. |

Ah I get it... LE is needed to make all that happen.
 - boonerbuck
LE so far isn't in the line up and may still get sent packing when Roussel gets back. Only reason kept is LE can play the PK better then the other two forwards waived. |

No shortage of PK players available. Green wants half a team of them.

Thanks - great advice, just figuring out the mechanics.
Although I'm a bit disappointed that I got to pick fourth in the mock but am 10th in this real draft... |
|

I wonder how often NHL teams make a panic pick like hockey poolers do when they are on the clock and running out of time in the real draft?
That's a question I've gotta start asking anybody who has ever sat at a draft table... |

I got all excited about AV's next chapter when I covered him at Worlds - and I'll be doing a story about "Behind The Glass" later this week, featuring them.
I guess I'll politely ignore the fact that they lost to the team in Lausanne, Switzerland earlier today?

Early road bumps until they learn the way it's gonna be, think Blues but with the same coach |

Two defensive lines. A scorer waived to keep a pk specialist. LE still here in place of a capable scorer that has chemistry with Bo and a couple others.
Did someone not memo Green his scoring standings last season? See where you finished? That was with 2 scoring lines.
 - boonerbuck
Greens decision. Benning playing the pk card justify keeping them.
Nice when you upgrade your team enough that you can sacrifice offence. In all fairness Sven averaging 14 goals per season. |
