Let's all just be happy that Guddy is no longer on the roster at 4 per. I wanted to like him but every time he touched the puck
I gotta give Benning credit for that one especially how Pearson looks to be shaping up. |

I’m not sold on Pearson as a legit top 6 player, as a 3rd wheel he can get by but he definitely has to be the worst player on his line if he’s in the top 6 |

I missed your pm about the pool. I’m always in my phone and they don’t show up unless you search for them.
Thanks for the invite, but harvest hours are so chaotic and random that there’s no guarantees I could make the draft. Good luck. - CubanBuffet

Well, they still have Eriksson and Sutter and are making roster decisions based on mistakes made over the past few years. |

I heard on the radio this morning that the Canucks might have to most expensive bottom 6 in the league. |

Did they mention about having one of the cheapest top lines also |

We can have Twitter blow up again next year when he is waived |

Yet, we are told by some that he could have been traded at deadline for an asset.

They did. They also mentioned how expensive it will be in a couple of years. At least we're not Toronto or Edmonton. |

Yes, I know. But we have a roster full of scraps. It's obvious. So when I see someone post a comment about "trading at deadline" and "building up a player to increase his trade value" I want to puke.
Most of the trades or signings so far have either produced headaches for the team or end up being traded again or eventually waived. Our core will come from drafting alone as long as JB is at the helm. |

But in a couple of years our expensive bottom 6 will be gone. It works out in the wash.

Will it be? All of our top 6 forwards are paid for the next 3 years except Petey. Add in Podkolzin on an ELC and I don't see the cost changing that much anytime soon |

Wow Northie, top line slot already allocated.
That's a hot take. |

I get it but there are some players that can be moved for a return. Sat Shah said there was offers for Sutter. The offers weren't great but there was offers. |

I don't thinks so either. Petey will get paid . I expect 10 mil but I expect Hughes to get a bridge deal . As you said most are locked in for at least 3 years. |

So Sven really is being sent down, this really was about the roster construction and not about cap savings, wow. I'm not a big Sven fan but having a more offensive minded 3rd line was something I was looking forward to this year.
Really makes me wonder about Green, he seems to be a conservative coach. - Nucker101
imo i think hes going the conservative way because he knows he has to win and doesnt have the horses. he obvs thinks their best chance is to win 2-1 games and wants an extra defensive line |

I said top 6 not top line. I could see him playing 2nd line minutes by his 2nd year in the NHL. |

It’s Bo, if they wanted EP they would’ve done 1 more year of only “A’s” - Nucker101
i dunno..

I asked if this should be taken literally as a list of the players who will be the alternates this season.. and was told yes.. |

Will they? I know they are under contract but I am not sure a non producing Beagle would still be here. Anyways it is 9 mil . You will probably have Podk and Hogslander here to balance the cap |
