To answer both of you, I also have twitter and if a friend off mine re-tweeted an annoying fan then I'd simply block the annoying fan, that way I still see my friend's tweets but not that annoying dude's tweets.

You can set your lineup now, but every game day you will likely want to swap around players so whoever is actually playing is on your active roster.

I know with the yahoo fantasy app you can just hit a button and it'll set your lines for each day through the whole week.

As for picking up and dropping players, it's kind of up to however much you want to manage it. I was fairly active in waiver pickups for half of last year and fairly non-active the other half but my results weren't hugely different.

I think I only made 1 or 2 trades the whole year, typically people seem to do it when someone goes down long term with injury and they need to fill a position.

If you log into the pool and get to your team page, there's a "Start Active Players" button on the left side above your roster, it will automatically set your lineup for your matchup.

Minimum goalie starts are 3 per week, but week 1 is extended to a week and a half due to the NHL starting mid-week so 4 starts are required. Stay on your team page and scroll down past your goalies and it'll let you know how many starts you already have that week. As long as you have 2 starting goalies or even 1 starter + a 1A/1B type goalie, it's usually quite easy to get to the 3 minimum starts per week so I wouldn't sweat it.

After the draft, the players are locked for a couple of days, so you'd have to make a waiver claim if you want to add someone. Just hit the green "+" symbol beside a player's name. Waivers run on October 3rd, after that you can simply add and drop players without making waiver claims. I would pay attention to player ranks once the season starts, Yahoo automatically ranks players based win our scoring system so it gives you a good idea of a player's value.

Another good tip is do not trade Nucker a goalie. He will have 10 of them by Decemeber and hold you to a kings ransom when your goalie gets injured.

Trade with Lefty when he drinks you will make out like a bandit.

Do not trade with SMP seeing he will win it anyways.
