I just don’t like skinner on pp1. I think he’s better suited for pp2 duties.
- TheHank

but who do you put there in his place?

You should find the pp2 line from last year. Holy cats.
- TheSabresTaco

they averaged about 23 seconds per game though.. i assume the same for this PP2 unit as well

Can someone explain to me the point of text that's like this? Is it supposed to make your point stand out? Because honestly, it just looks childish to me.

anywho, I don't agree with him being on that line, but I'm also not in practice. Perhaps they're trying to set him up to succeed instead of just throwing him out to the curb. Maybe we could give him the benefit of the doubt for a game or two before we go back to making him (one of many) whipping boys around here.

He’s not a great passer and he’s not going to be in a shooting position. I don’t need 2 guys to clean up rebounds. Not sure, I’d probably switch him and Mittelstadt.

Isn’t it 3rd best in the 2021 draft?

You don't pay a guy 9.5 and then not play him on the powerplay, regardless of whether its best for the PP or not. Simple as that.

I think we should want what’s best.
Good thing he’s not making 9.5 I guess

Good thing he’s only making 9 too.

I agree with you. He's not a great PP player. Not an insult, it's just not his skill set. He wants to score every time the puck is on his stick.

You're right, he's actually getting paid 10.

I thought Skinner did pretty well on the PP last year.

His hands did him well in the slot.

Sobotka in the top6. E-Rod benched. Tage and Lazar down.

This is the least excited I've ever been for a Sabres season. Wake me up for next draft, we'll be top5. Hopefully the next GM is better.

What's everyone's opinion on CJ Smith? Is he a career AHLer? At 24 years old, he has put up some good numbers with the Amerks, but never can stick with the big club. Just curious if he would be a player that could be traded to Edmonton for Puljujarvi's rights. Seems they are kind of light on talent at LW and are looking for someone that can help now. Add a mid round pick if needed. Puljujarvi has not lived up to his draft position, but still has a lot of potential.

These four players ruin the season for you. I feel like I'm taking (frank)ing crazy pills.

He's a tweener until proven otherwise. I think he has a year or two left until his book is written.

He did well, however if Jack and Olofsson are your shooters, Skinner will not have as many chances. He is not a set up guy. I think eventually, when he gets called up, Tage will be on the 1st unit. Seems like they were using him in front of the net a lot in preseason.

Just more of the same.

Okposo, Sobotka, Girgs and Scandella should be orbiting Pluto by now. Instead we get another year of this nonsense.

I really wonder if Botts wants out, has he requested a trade?

He was OK. I don't think he's nearly as dangerous on the PP as he is 5v5. Setting up in the zone takes away a lot of his strengths.
