I know we are all here because of the Sabres but some things are much bigger than sports

I listened to the morning show on my way to work down here in Orlando with my 3 year old in the car.

Makes you appreciate the important things in life just a bit more

A friend gave me warning after I got to work that he had posted something on twitter, but to wait to check it out until I wasn't at my desk as it would be pretty upsetting. I may take a look when I get home, but for now, I don't need the details. I'm able to piece it together enough to get the gist for now.

1958. My mother's first child is born but only survives one day. Mom is told she'll never be able to have kids.
1961 my sister is adopted.
1964 my brother is born, naturally by Mom
1968 LandlordTom is born, also by Mom.

So sad right now for the Whites. But "miracles" do happen.

This. My wife and I went through some of the same things (though not to quite to this degree, of course) and it's heartbreaking. The science behind IVF has come so far but at the end of the day it's still a crap shoot if it's going to go the whole way. I am fortunate enough to have 3 children from the process but there was years of heartache along the way. Hug your kids and hope that they can try again in the future. Sucks.
