If this team carries 14 forwards like it sounds like they're going to do, one of those two D are getting sent to waivers. Think it would be a big mistake to put either on waivers. If anything, should be Nelson, because of the RD depth. But at least orchestrate a trade. Send him and Larsson for Perreault.

Lazar and Thompson may both be on the outs. Sheary isn't practicing. I'd be disappointed if this were the case. But neither are centers and Thompson doesn't have a defensive game. Plus both will go through waivers. Yes, I know Thompson isn't eligible.

eh. im giving him the benefit of the doubt. I mean we know Sobotka isn't playing on the 2nd line wing. I mean, I really want to hope that. He's really into blending lines to give them a very balanced look of defensive awareness, grit and actual talent. So, who tf knows.

Just a guess on my part but looking at this, Elie and Wilson get put on waivers for Rochester and Asplund is sent back. I believe that is 14 forwards. Could they swing a trade, sure but not likely imo. Not fair to send Asplund back, thought he deserved a spot over Larry.

On D, I agree that Nelson is either getting traded or waived. That would keep Gilmour here as the 7th until Montour is ready but they could still keep Gilmour here and not expose him tpo waivers and send Joker down. Lots of options.

edit- forgot about Sheary. My guess is they keep Tage and waive Lazar.

I did an edit. Probably Lazar goes to waivers because I think they really like Tage. Just a guess on that. I would say Asplund, CJ and Lazar will be the first call ups.
