As much as most want I doubt we'll see LE in Utica lol

Any more word on Brock and if he's good for opening day?

Cull thought Juolevi settled into a groove as game got going in the first period.
Seemed to be more comfortable going for pucks and moving pucks.
“A good game for him.”

Cull also noted Juolevi likely wouldn’t be in lineup Saturday in preseason game at Binghamton.
Part of planned lineup changes for the games. Said organization wants to take care of him in return.

#Canucks KHL/MHL

Vasily Podkolzin is not in the line-up for KHL SKA today. Instead he was demoted to play an MHL junior game earlier today. On the bright side, he tallied 3 assists, 2 of them primary, in a 4-2 victory for SKA-1946.

Lol, like a joint at a Willy Nelson concert... just keeps getting passed around. At least he's getting in some game time! Hopefully they find an "out" ($$$) in his contract soon and bring him over so he's not on such a yo-yo

I don't overall have much of a problem with him playing with different teams, in different leagues and having a different linemate every single game.

4 points in 2 MHL games
1 point in 2 VHL games
0 points in 10 KHL games

Sooner or later he will settle somewhere hopefully and we can all gush over the stats he didn't put up last season.

Someone tweeted out the other day that he might be kept around because he's a PK guy.

I saw. Was a heads up play by him.

Think he could compliment Bo and Miller in the future really well.

I noticed on the transaction page that a few teams called up several players from their AHL affiliate, and then the next day sent them down again. Do you think they were trying to “hide” one more waiver eligible player amongst the guys who had already cleared?

He might fit in well with a fellow Swede also. I am not a huge Boeser fan but I always wish him well. I am always expecting disappointment with him . I hope I am very wrong on BB.

Could be . I hope Canucks are not dumpster diving again this year. We have had too many fringe players.

Teams are generally set now a days at this time of the year. Unless an actual good prospects or a team is extremely lacking in an area, can't see any waiver pick ups.

Just seems strange to see, for example, Chicago call up 18 players from the AHL yesterday/today. Thursday the Flames did the same thing, and Friday returned them all, plus one guy on waivers.

His skating is what makes him seem this way, hoping he keeps getting better and puts up the stats, and stays healthy!

Agree, just wondering if they flood the transaction report in hopes of slipping a guy through who they are worried about losing. I would think the scouting team would know which guys from every other team they would want if they hit waivers...

I think that's crazy funny and would probably need to you expand on why you think that to not think you've lost your marbles finally

His PPG suggest a solid 75-85 point player but if he keeps missing 20 games per season there will be cause for concern. Needs to work on his defensive game as well. If he buys into the defensive game and put up 40 goals we have a stud for sure. But he needs to stay injury free and injuries seem to find this guy. Hope he proves me wrong this year with 70-75 healthy games and puts up 35 goals.

I see Pettersson as a tier 1 player I see Brock as a tier two player . I don't know what needs explaining about it.

Boeser is not a great skater, has flaws in his game in his own end. He has a great shot and a nose for picking up rebounds. He has good and bad .

When I think of a top line forward I think high thirties to 50 goal guys as tier one . Brock is not there yet.

He is not the best defensive winger out there for sure. League scoring goes up almost every year. Meaning the league as a whole is defensively worse every season.

Really good defensive forwards are becoming rare. Can you add a few names to Bergeron, Kopitar, Toews, O'Reilly. These guys are all into their 30s and you can add Barkov, Stone, Couturier for younger players.

Nick Bonino 13th place in selke voting this season. Really

93 first line players in the league at the end of the year in stats. Those are the best 93 forwards, you make it, you are a first line player.

I don't know how you claim he's a second tier player so he is a 2nd line player. Past the top 30 forwards you will find the next tier of players that would still allow them to be first line players.

It is sort of misleading . Marner was +22 and Tavares was +19 They will never be considered two way forwards because the puck is usually in the other teams end.

People can have different opinions . No big deal. You are high on the guy , me not so much. Some people thought he should get 7-8 mil I thought he was worth 6 mil . You think he is tier 1 I think he is tier 2.
