Sure ... as stated probable which is not 100%. Those possibilities you mention exist.

But the most likely outcome is they stay. Press box until injuries occur. For example, BB may not be ready to go or someone else gets knocked out early in the season. It makes the most sense depth and asset management wise.

This is not a bad problem for Canucks having two young NHL experienced talented players out performed for line up roles. They are still young to improve and performance is part of the lesson. Leivo and Pearson learned theirs it seems.
